I would avoid their car servicing services. I was quoted ?360 for spark plugs replacement!!! I ended up buying the parts for ?50 and did it myself in 15 minutes following a youtube video.Their customer services is consistently unreliable, unhelpful and back to back mistakes e.g. issued invoice to wrong email address, wrong receipt etc.
I placed an order for a Truma Ultra flow water line on sale at ?10 only for the local store to contact me and cancel my order because they had priced it wrong. I can’t see how this is my fault and my understanding is that the company would have to honer the price regardless of their mistake.
I went to the Milton Keynes store last Friday to have a new headlight bulb fitted. I grabbed two in a deal and had one of the assistants fit the bulbs. Unfortunately it turned out that the bulb holder itself was at fault. The assistant told me which part I needed to get and that I could come back and he would fit it. I came back three days later and the young assistant wasn't there. But another assistant called Harvey agreed to fit the bulb holder and new bulb. It turned out to be a difficult job, requiring Harvey to unbolt lots of parts and take out the entire headlight. He was relentless in getting the job done despite it taking the best part of an hour. I was very impressed with his determination to do the job and his ability to to do it. I am so thrilled with the service I received and the help top get my car road worthy again. Thank you. I took my bike to halfords, I've only had my bike 9 months. I only ride it to & from work nowhere else. 10 mins there 10 mins back. I wanted the gears tightened up, I was told to come back in 30 mins. When I came back I was told I need a new chain & rear wheel cog totalling ?140. I couldn't believe it when he said it was wear & tare. How i hardly use it & it's kept in doors. Since going my brakes have been making a very load screeching noise. So load it's embarrassing so I haven't used my bike since. I've complained to halfords but after a week now nobody has got back to me. If I was anyone looking to buy a new bike I would go elsewhere. Halfords are just happy to take your money & then try to get more out of you
Oh my God, avoid this place, they are a nightmare. I have completed the cycle 2 work scheme, have my voucher ready to go, called into halfords tallaght, was told the stock wasnt available in their store, went to cabinteely, they said best bet was to order online. Went to order online, showing stock available but when checking out - told not available in store. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Zero customer service

Dave is an excellent member of staff he helped to fit my bulb for fiat 500 and was very quick and efficient. He has a very bubbly personality and instantly cheered me up. Thank you Dave for your help!
The guy behind till at Farnborough very friendy and helpful. The lad with dark hair/glasses changed my headlight bulb easily which ive seen mechanics with 40 years experience struggle with. Proof there are great people who I am sure are not rewarded adequately and/or provided with the right opportunities....great attitude. These folks might be getting calls for other opportunities soon!
First time I used Halfords for MOT.Not only was it an hour late going into bay ,but failed on a petrol cap seal with a slight split, although tight seal.No seal was available as it seems all parts are ordered as required, and I ended up driving to a main dealer to pick up the part and then wait a further 2 hours for Halfords to retest. If I had booked the vehicle in to a main dealer as I had always on previous occasions, they would have just fitted the ?3 seal, passed the vehicle and added the amount to the invoice.Moral of the story. Stick to main dealers for your MOT
