Review Time
Just sat waiting in the Swindon Halfords for my wiper blades to be fitted. The guy acknowledged me sat there and said “I will be a minute”. 20 minutes later I went to the till to ask for a refund and not one of the staff apologised or even said, let me get him! Shocking service
Halfords Huddersfield. Customer service was excellent.Enquired about replacing an indicator bulb. Staff member at the till quickly arranged for me to talk to her colleague, Shohib. Unfortunately the bulb couldn’t be replaced & he discussed my options. I also enquired about which dashcam would be best for my car. Shohib was very knowledgeable, professional and polite and I will purchase a dashcam from Halfords.
Stood at empty counter to pay for car polishes. I could see two staff members chatting in far corner. Waited. Someone eventually arrived at the counter then walked off and started chatting to someone. Continued waiting for someone for a good ten minutes then put down what I had and left.
I booked an appointment to have a dash cam fitted, no drama.....oh yes and plenty of it. I arrived to find long standing extensive roadworks blocking the entrance to the store so parked nearby. I entered the store and was met with a shrug of the shoulders. I asked why, knowing the situation with the roadworks they hadn't called me to rearrange (I have taken unpaid time away from work), again a shrug. I left feeling extremely let down and frustrated. I called the Halfords customer service line to lodge a complaint and demand a refund (chap at the shop said he'd do this but I had little to no confidence this would happen). I was advised it would take 3-5 business days to refund me, ok. I lodged a complaint and was told I would receive a call within 72 hours. 8 days on, I have received no refund no any call from customer services. I called again yesterday and was met with a volley of apologies but no answer as to where my money was and no answer to my complaint, only "we will call you back tomorrow as a high priority". Still no call and each time I've called I've been given a different version of what will happen next, I have learned this to be absolutely nothing. Halfords remain in possession of MY money ?349....I can only assume this is normal and that they enjoy the interest this generates the business. I will not rest until my situation is resolved and I am compensated for lost time and the poor service I continue to experience. Shame on you HalfordsNeil Hunter - order no: 2230251301
I bought private plates for our cars and took the certificate to Halfords Hartlepool,I ordered on line and included the fitting.I tookmy car first and the lad fitting them had problems fitting them and theback one ended up being stuck on ,I then took my wife's car to get hers fitted and there were problems with those too and they got stuck too.I am dissatisfied as my back plate and my wife's front plate need resticking regularly
I can't really rate the bike because I still haven't received it - I'm sure it's very good but this absolutely abysmal rating is for Halfords as a whole and their Customer Service, which is the worst of any company I have ever had to deal with. Period. I ordered the bike 18 days ago with a 3-5 day delivery and am STILL waiting for it to arrive with little/no information as to its whereabouts. Throughout, on the rare occasion I have been able to actually speak to someone about my order, I have been told various things by the Customer Service, including the A.I. bot mistakenly saying it had rejected on delivery and was being returned to the retailer, later admitted to be untrue by the CS person. I have then been told the delay was perhaps down to having a different payment address to delivery address, which was again, another lie. For reference, the delivery address was perfectly right throughout. I was then informed the courier had the bike, it just would take 1-2 days to process on their system. Again, untrue. Now, I have been told that the delay was caused by a technical error with their dispatch systems and 'unfortunately' my bike seems to have been affected. After all this, I still don't have a courier tracking number, don't have a bike and quite frankly, don't have any patience, especially when I then receive a feedback email asking me to leave a review & rating. You couldn't make it up!
