Review Time
On 3rd August, I purchased a Carrera Vengeance Men’s Mountain Bike – Black, Medium, online. Shortly afterwards, I was contacted by the local store to say the bike was not in stock and my order was cancelled. This was confirmed in the Halfords app as “Cancelled Order.”Since then, I have had to contact Halfords customer service four times to chase a refund. Each time, I’ve been fobbed off with the excuse that a manager is “too busy” to deal with my complaint. I was promised a call back from the manager, yet weeks later, I have had no contact whatsoever.This is disgraceful service. The communication is appalling, refunds are not being processed, and there is no way for customers to escalate complaints. Halfords are happy to take customers’ money but clearly not interested in putting things right when they fail.
Received by email a confirmation of a tyre booking for a car I sold 6 years ago.Very worried they have retained and are misusing my personal data. Impossible to contact them as i gave up the phone after waiting 15 minutes and all email addresses bounce back
As a single lady travelling on her own, I went into Halfords in Aberdeen. I was collecting a car for a friend from Morrisons carpark opposite the store and on arrival I found the battery was flat on the vehicle. Andy offered to come and jump start the vehicle, which actually belong to one of their customers. Within minutes I was on my way. I cannot rate halfords and especially Andy for his help in a desperate moment. Thank you so much Andy 10/10
Rude, offensive member of staff. Refused to accept a baby seat returned under a product recall notification. Despite the email from customer services clearly saying "we will accept all Nyala seats returned, even if the code is unclear." the return was refused.The member of staff was extremely rude, saying I should have read the email properly and denying the email said what it does.When I said I would feedback to customer services, he shrugged and said "It will just to come back to me anyway so go ahead".
I bought a Chris Boardman Road bike less than a year ago from the Lancaster Store. I have rode the bike in dry weather over the year but could not get used to it at all. I brought it into Halfords where one of the assistants and the manager gave it the once over. They offered me a trade in price of ?475 subject to a moisture check which was booked in for the 25/8/25 at the Lancaster store for 1000. After this check I was then offered ?20 recycle value by the technician due to some small scratches (from the lock) on the crossbar, chain and tyre wear! On speaking to the assistant during the earlier exchange, I found it very wierd that the manager would not speak directly to me but through the assistant only who was a yard in front of him. He spoke out of the corner of his mouth in a whisper so I could not hear. Thought for a moment I was dealing with the Mariposa not some kid/manager at Halfords. Absolutely disgraceful and a complete waste of time, I will have nothing further to do with this condition
The professional customer service received from Roxanna at Beckton when i bought a replacement glass wing mirror. She went to retrieve it for me. Checked that it was the correct one and advised me to be careful as it is fragile and the last one. Whilst being very polite and courteous the whole time. Thank you.
Halfords in Kings Lynn staff are polite and excellent service. I have my bicycle check and fixed. They is doing the great job and thorough check with care. Sadly my eye side is bad and could not read the name tag and here I would like to thank you so much for doing a good job and truly appreciated. Highly recommended👍
