On 3rd August, I purchased a Carrera Vengeance Men’s Mountain Bike – Black, Medium, online. Shortly afterwards, I was contacted by the local store to say the bike was not in stock and my order was cancelled. This was confirmed in the Halfords app as “Cancelled Order.”Since then, I have had to contact Halfords customer service four times to chase a refund. Each time, I’ve been fobbed off with the excuse that a manager is “too busy” to deal with my complaint. I was promised a call back from the manager, yet weeks later, I have had no contact whatsoever.This is disgraceful service. The communication is appalling, refunds are not being processed, and there is no way for customers to escalate complaints. Halfords are happy to take customers’ money but clearly not interested in putting things right when they fail.
