Bringing the right item in the first place would be good, then also bring the correct item for the second visit that would be even better. Also, contacting Halfords to speak to someone is a real nightmare - you wait for a phone call to correct the mistake and no one calls, we have to do it. This is not good customer care!!
I recently book a mobile fitting for tyre with your technician Andrew. He was very polite and helpful. Even though my location turned out to be unsuitable to change the tyre he was happy to drive a short distance up the road to a more suitable location to change my tyre. Would definitely recommend Andrew and will use mobile fitting again in the future.
Booked to have a new battery fitted of which my registration was taken for the correct battery size arrived at planned time customer service person said I’ll have to have a look to see if it has a torque bar if it has we can’t fit it !!It does have a torque bar so they said we don’t have the tool to get it off !!!! What the hell !! Pre paid for the service and now you have to refund me which will take 5 days the woman was rude and unprofessional and replied ‘ well I can leave it and you can just give us the money or you wait for it to be paid into your acct !! If they ask for the make and model of your car and recommend a battery you would honestly think they could have the right tools for the job ! I also booked a health check which there was absolutely no mention of Appalling service
Few years ago Trying to scam again first time in Burnley Lancashire told me i need new brakes pads and new gears and new chain on my voodoo bantu push bike i said yes cost me ?250 because I didn't know any better got learning difficulties got my bike back then I realised no new parts added it's totally scam. Today in Blackburn store Trying scam me same thing he done pricing up before I got there
Visited store today at Dunfermline Halbeath to get headlight changed.One of the technicians came out and said he didn’t think it would work as bulb case had melted. He recommended to get this fixed at a garage. He still proceeded to fit the bulb and left it knowing it wasn’t working. I went in after and asked for my ?11 refund. This was declined as they had supposedly fitted the bulb even though it wasn’t working.Very poor service.
My order is missing. They are making it as difficult as possible to receive a replacement order. I have been contacting them since the 13th to tell them that Evi have told me the order is missing and I need a replacement! I just keep getting the response that someone is looking into it or it's with another department who do not talk directly to customers etc. It's absolutely appalling that you can't just send a replacement when the customer has spent money and not received any product!
We sought advice regarding child car seats and Ryan in the Huntingdon store really knew his stuff and was very helpful. Unfortunately the ones we wanted were on offer and out of stock but Ryan went out of his way to source them from another branch, which all went smoothly. Thank you.
Southend bike section has gone Rotten . Having brought many bikes from them over the years I can say they are not the company they were . The staff have complete contempt for the customers and delight in telling you what there not going to do . The care plan is scam that needs exposing. . they make you have assesment then claim you need hundreds of pounds work and will not do what you the owner wants claiming it's a safety thing .. crooks.. manageress is out of her depth and comes over as unhinged with anger issues .. avoid this store it's not worth stress .
A week ago went to Halfords to get a free battery and alternator test due to warning lights. Jake did a test on my car and told me it was the battery which needed replacing, I asked if he had done the alternator test and he said yes. Had a new battery fitted. Yesterday my car came up with the same warning lights and went in limp mode. Took this to an independent garage where I needed a new alternator. My car was misdiagnosed, and has costed me ?570 on top of the ?100 I spent at Halfords. To then be informed by the manager that Jake has 4 weeks training which clearly is not enough as he is not competent to do a battery and alternator test let alone anything else. The manager suggested I do not leave a review however feel as though others need to be aware.
Spent ?700 on a bike and saddle for my partners birthday.I purchased both of these items on the 22nd. My partners birthday was on the 29th and still have not recieved anything. I have contacted customer service atleast four times and have recieved no response.We were meant to be going on a cycling holiday for her birthday weekend but had to cancel everything as nothing has arrived.The fact I have got no response after spending this kind of money is appalling.I will never buy or trust Halfords ever again after this experience.Still waiting to see where the bike is or to atleast get a refund so I can buy one from someone trusted or who actually wants to help.Beyond angry and disappointed,
