Helpful + knowledgeable staff

Leighton Buzzard store. Emergency stop as motorhome battery wasn't holding charge. Ellie + Ryan established that battery was on it's way out so info given about appropriate replacement and advice given on what to do. They both made a stressful situation a lot easier so big thanks to Ellie and Ryan

Halfords Arbroath. 3 staff standing chatting and ignoring customers. The most senior guy had a “couldn’t care less” attitude. That’s the last time I will enter a Halfords store.

I have been informed that the card I.

I have been informed that the card I used last year for my payment for Halfords Motoring club has expired.Thank goodness! Just a little relieved that the payment Halfords were after /over 50 did not go through. More than a little upset that they had kept my card details from last year.the club made my roof rack order and fitting just a little cheaper.I will never let Halfords have my card details again.

I had an MOT booked for today and we drove it there and left it as it says it will be 1-2 hours but they told us it would take almost 5 hours unless they contact us before. We arrived at the time told as we weren’t contacted at all and they told us they didn’t do the MOT because the tester “claimed my car was too messy inside” even though we had cleaned it and one of the other staff even offered to hoover it and the tester still refused. There wasn’t any reason they couldn’t carry out the MOT and the car is fine inside. They claimed they contacted us and told us after we left but we received nothing all day. Do not use here. Complete waste of time. 😡😡

The bike repair team at Halfords.

The bike repair team at Halfords Wakefield are superb! With my puncture he checked for glass etc and found nothing so offered 2 options, explained the differences and process, I opted for the ,slime’ filler, at only ?8 which should offer greater protection in future and has a 2 year guarantee. New inner tube cost me repaired ?25 an independent store for a new inner tube a week ago. Great service from Halfords Wakefield!

Don't trust the build

My grandson purchased a Carrera abyss hybrid junior bike some weeks ago which he hadn't had chance to ride much, so I took him to a local bike track with tarmac and MTB tracks. Unfortunately the untrained bike team at his local Halfords in Thanet did not set it up correctly. The handlebars were not straight and the front brake blocks hadn't been tightened properly when it was built. Also the front brake cable had been routed incorrectly. Luckily I have enough experience to know better than them and could correct the mistakes, unlike the elderly grandmother he lives with. It could have been very dangerous, so check any bike built by the "experts" as they are definitely not well trained.

I went into Halfords in new Malden this.

I went into Halfords in new Malden this morning to get a windscreen chipped repaired and John was incredibly helpful and fixed it so fast. Whilst I was waiting Micheal was so lovely having a chat reassuring me it would all be fixed and I had nothing to worry about the whole team are so good there highly recommend!!

I am contacting Halfords to highlight the fantastic customer service I have recently experienced. On two occasions over the last week I called into your store in Cumbernauld, Glasgow. I met with a member of staff called Derek in the bike hub. He assisted me with the purchase of cycling glasses and gloves. However, you did not have the type/style of seat that I required. Derek went to great lengths to advise on what I needed. When I did source the saddle I needed I could not put it together, I called into your store to meet with Derek again and within two minutes he had sorted my problem. It is not often that I take the time to write about a positive shopping experience but on this occasion I feel that I must highlight Derek's knowledge and great manner when assisting me. Well done Halfords and Derek, he has ensured that I will use Halfords again when I need parts for my cycle. Many Thanks

very bad company took daughters money but did not do job but said they did also paying monthly for

paid for battery change took money but never arrived said they did it . also paying for car club but has not recieved any discounts when i have purchased anything

Really poor customer service, chasing a refund for 3 weeks

I paid over ?70 for a diagnostic on my air con. Had to use taxi’s for the day, collected car was told the air con was fine, had been re gassed and was working fine. It lasted 1 day and then no longer worked. I contacted the garage and was told I would have to take it to another site. I did not have time to do that and so had to drive to Cornwall and back with no air con and the kids in the car. Contacted the branch again for a refund, was told I would receive within 3 days.that was over 3 weeks ago. I have made several phone calls, used the live chat, called the branch, and make a complaint and still no refund and no response other than to ask for my bank details...2 weeks after they said I would receive the refund. Do not waste your time of money.
