You book appointment on line take your money then say there is a problem with your booking wasting your time and leaving you out of pocket for 5 days to get a refund

Excellent service

I booked a home visit on Halfords Malvern website to have a front and back dashcam fitted. It was quick and easy to book with lots of dates and time slots. The Fitter arrived on time, was very professional and did a superb job, very neat and tidy with no ugly wires hanging down. I asked a question about a specific function and not only did the fitter explain that, and other functions, he actually set it for me. Excellent customer service.

Excellent service for car battery fitting.

Received excellent service for the battery fitting service at the Exeter store. The assistant Rupert was so helpful knowledgeable and professional- nothing was too much trouble. This is a really good service and I was so grateful to get it sorted at 6:30pm in the evening. You could tell the store was really short staffed and quite busy but the staff handled it really well communicating with each other with their headsets. I was really impressed.

Amazing service for a damsel in distress!! 😀

I was driving along on A38 near Derby on my way to a holiday in Wales when my car suffered from a transmission fault and struggled to change gear after leaving Little Eaton roundabout. The automatic gearbox wasn’t very happy at all and engine malfunction light came on. I’m in the AA so phoned them and they wouldn’t come out as the light was only amber! Told to drive and find the nearest Halfords - really great breakdown service. Duly googled and found one on London Road in Derby. An absolute gem as the gentleman from there came out, despite being very busy and completed a diagnostic check, this informed him that my automatic gearbox was on its last legs! He recommended a garage near my home to have it fixed, he also suggested driving the car home and not to attempt the journey to Wales especially as the AA had left me on A38. He was an absolute marvel, dropping everything to sort out a damsel in distress!! Thank you to Halfords on London Road in Derby - glad Google found you 😀

Unable to complete transaction Halfords IT failure

Unable to complete transaction due to Halfords error message when trying to log into my account. Telephone support was useless as they could not process order and apply discount codes. Basically waste of my time.

Purchased a bike dec 2024

Purchased a bike dec 2024, had to return as the rear wheel came of while riding, Halfords repaired free , same problem happened again in approx Feb and again they repaired free the same week the problem happened again only this time the gears twisted into the spokes of the back wheel, again Halfords repaired free, unhappy about the constant repairs i spoke to the Store manager who's exact words where "if it happens again we will replace the bike" surprise surprise it happened again however now apparently its a maintance issue and they will not replace. Bike is a death trap the whole wheel locks and my son has been thrown of this bike 4 times now, ive received an email to say they will repair free to which the store manager said no they wont, Ive spoke to head office and was told being forwarded to complaints only to receive another 2 calls from them to find out at the end that they are not complaints and it would have to be escalated again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. No resolve and now ?400 worth of scrap

Great help from David at Queens, Sheffield

Came to get a punctured tyre fixed. David really helped, provided clear info and guidance. Also made my 6 year old daughter feel really listened to and involved in the service process. Will come and repeat shop at Halfords for this sort of service, thanks David! Store: 0768Till: 003Tran: 331910
