I booked an appointment to have a dash cam fitted, no drama.....oh yes and plenty of it. I arrived to find long standing extensive roadworks blocking the entrance to the store so parked nearby. I entered the store and was met with a shrug of the shoulders. I asked why, knowing the situation with the roadworks they hadn't called me to rearrange (I have taken unpaid time away from work), again a shrug. I left feeling extremely let down and frustrated. I called the Halfords customer service line to lodge a complaint and demand a refund (chap at the shop said he'd do this but I had little to no confidence this would happen). I was advised it would take 3-5 business days to refund me, ok. I lodged a complaint and was told I would receive a call within 72 hours. 8 days on, I have received no refund no any call from customer services. I called again yesterday and was met with a volley of apologies but no answer as to where my money was and no answer to my complaint, only "we will call you back tomorrow as a high priority". Still no call and each time I've called I've been given a different version of what will happen next, I have learned this to be absolutely nothing. Halfords remain in possession of MY money ?349....I can only assume this is normal and that they enjoy the interest this generates the business. I will not rest until my situation is resolved and I am compensated for lost time and the poor service I continue to experience. Shame on you HalfordsNeil Hunter - order no: 2230251301
