Review of Halfords
I took my bike to halfords, I've only had my bike 9 months. I only ride it to & from work nowhere else. 10 mins there 10 mins back. I wanted the gears tightened up, I was told to come back in 30 mins. When I came back I was told I need a new chain & rear wheel cog totalling ?140. I couldn't believe it when he said it was wear & tare. How i hardly use it & it's kept in doors. Since going my brakes have been making a very load screeching noise. So load it's embarrassing so I haven't used my bike since. I've complained to halfords but after a week now nobody has got back to me. If I was anyone looking to buy a new bike I would go elsewhere. Halfords are just happy to take your money & then try to get more out of you
