Square abruptly closed my verified.

Square abruptly closed my verified account and is holding $200 of my hard-earned money with no justification. I complied with all of their verification requirements, used the platform properly for legitimate transactions, and followed every rule.After contacting customer service multiple times, I received nothing but generic, copy-and-paste responses. No one could explain why the account was closed, and no one would help me retrieve my funds. I have been completely stonewalled with zero accountability from Square.This company is shady, unresponsive, and acts with no transparency. If they can just take your money and cut you off without a reason, no one is safe using their service. I do NOT recommend Square to anyone—especially small businesses and individuals who rely on quick access to their funds.

Square is literally the worst

Square is literally the worst. Do not use. I just started a staging company. My first client was a real estate agent and I was paid via cash and check. My second is a friend I've known for years. He wanted to pay with CC. I opened a square account. He had me stage a couple rooms in his house and the feedback at his open house convinced him to hire me for the rest. I finish working a 14 hour day at midnight and charge him while we were catching up. Go to transfer the money, which was around 2300 when I got home and couldn't. My account was under review. I have a website and business cards. I just started this business and he was my second client. There isnt a license I need for this and I was waiting to create an LLC for a few different reasons. They are making me wait 9p days for my money. 90 days. For MY money.

Good luck in changing your domain name

Good luck in changing your domain name. I went through Go Daddy to change my domain but I would rather go through Square for my payments and website. They tell me to wait 7 to 10 business days to get it changed. I said there is no way I am waiting that long for that to change. It is interfering with my business because most of my clients like to book online. They said okay, we will get it changed in 48 hours. Still no change. I pay $35 a month for my website and payment square to run smoothly and they are dragging their feet to get my domain changed.Go Daddy Aero looks more enticing than Squares incompetence. Now I got to spend an hour on the phone with them AGAIN to to take care of this or else I am doing business elsewhere. Also, they dont speak clear English, so the language barrier also makes it a challenge when I need to explain my situation.

Square is a scam. They suspended my account without warning and held my money hostage with no intention of sending it to me. I reached out to their support, and all I got was an automated email—no real response, no help, nothing. They don’t care about their customers, just about holding onto your money.Do NOT trust the positive reviews—they’re fake. Square is full of fraudulent practices, and they will shut you down with no explanation. I will be taking legal action against them. If you’re thinking about using Square, don’t—save yourself the headache and go with a real payment processor.

Twice I have logged into Square to.

Twice I have logged into Square to refund my customer. Twice, Square has taken the refund for my customer and applied it to the loan that I have with Square. Square's documents say that when a customer makes a payment they will take a portion of the funds and apply it to the loan; I don't have a problem with this, I agreed to it when I signed loan paperwork. Where I have a problem is I refunded my customer. My loan payment was already made but Square kept that refunded money and I NEED TO REFUND MY CUSTOMER. This is completely WRONG of Square to do. How am I to refund my customer if Square continues to keep the funds???I think it's time to move my business over to another payment service. I'll pay off my loan with Square because I legit owe them but I will find another card processor.

Square has completely reinvented the.

Square has completely reinvented the way, I do check out, There’s so many options to make it seamless and comfortable for my clients. I would never switch to another platform again.I hands-down love Square. I love the updates and I love that they’re always standing and staying modern with trends.
