I’m deeply disappointed by how Payoneer handled my recent experience. I was scammed by a recipient using their platform. Despite providing clear proof and following every step in their process, my case was closed without explanation and with no meaningful support.What’s worse is that I wasn’t even asking for a refund in the end—I simply wanted to know what action Payoneer takes to protect users from scammers. The answer? Nothing. They continue allowing the scammer to use their platform with no consequences, no investigation, and no transparency.Their only response was to remind me that “all transactions are final” and suggest I “contact the recipient”—who, as I already explained, is unresponsive because they’re the scammer.Payoneer presents itself as a trusted payment solution but takes zero responsibility when things go wrong. There is no fraud protection, no follow-up, and no accountability. If you’re sending money through Payoneer, be warned: you are completely on your own.They are enabling bad actors while dismissing legitimate concerns from users who get scammed.Dear Kiara - as requested: Reference Number: 250602-009814FYI - I received another copy-paste response from your team today which once again didn't address my question. It is extremely frustrating! Your team is only after ticking boxes but not reading messages or actually answering customer questions.
One of the inefficient service. It took nearly 3 months to resolve my account issue. They kept the account disabled for 3 months without even asking any details or proof documents. Finally they have asked a billing proof after 3 months and reactivated in few days. Really disappointing service
Terrible company. Suspended my account with no given reason before I could even log in once, support refused to tell me why this was done or if I could correct it despite me offering to provide as many documents as they needed. Gives me 0 confidence they wouldn't have somehow found a way to lock me out of my money had I been able to sign up.
Absolute ZERO.From start to end.The app is one of the worst apps ever made. It's actually amazing how badly designed it is.Get this: You open the app, it uses touch id (which actually is face id, nice design there), it verifies like 5 times before letting you use the app.After about 3 working days, you get into the app, and lets say now you want to get support.It opens A WEB PAGE inside of the app, and asks you to do guess what SIGN IN, while you are signed in in the app.Amazing design there.Ok, now it asks you to confirm you want to sign in by giving you what? A NOTIFICATION IN THE APP, which you CANNOT SEE, because the app has opened a web page overlay.Stellar design there.Ok, so you switch to SMS 2fa. You're in, congrats.Oh you have a problem that needs a human being?Well take another 3 working days to navigate to live chat.Then write the most concise description of the problem, and even include the solution, cause you expect them to know absolutely nothing, cause they cant even design a simple app.And after waiting another hour, you get the most generic answer even AI could write better.There is thousands of better solutions, Payoneer is at the very bottom of the list.To Payoneer: I will get my money back, this way or the other, and since this experience is the worst ever I had with any, not even banking, but any app in the history, I guess you are drowning in chargebacks.To freelancers: DO NOT USE THIS EVEN IF SOMEHOW ITS THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR YOUTraditional banks are 100000x faster.
My account got locked after I tried to log in many times because I was not getting the OTP, not even when I used the “call me” option. I tried at different times of the day, but nothing worked, and now I am completely locked out. No one from Payoneer has reached out to help or explain what’s going on. It’s really frustrating and worrying that a financial app in 2025 can have such poor support and leave users stuck like this.
I’ve been a loyal Payoneer user for over 10 years, working as a freelancer in the IT and development field. I regularly received payments from international clients and used their services without any issues.Recently, my card was about to expire, so I did what I had always done — I ordered a replacement card. It was approved, shipped, and marked as delivered. Then, out of nowhere, my account was blocked, along with the new card. No prior warning. No clear explanation.I was told my line of work violates their terms of service. Funny — for 10 years, it never did. And now, suddenly, it does?I reached out to customer support. The responses were generic copy-paste statements. No specifics, no details, no effort to clarify or investigate. Just a flat shutdown. ? ️ My takeaways: • Payoneer is not reliable. They can block your account without real explanation, even if you’ve been a trusted user for over a decade. • Customer support is useless. They don’t try to help — they just send pre-written responses. • Your money is not safe. They can freeze your funds and leave you with no access or recourse.📌 Freelancers, beware. If you rely on Payoneer, have a backup plan. In 2025, this kind of treatment is unacceptable.................................Thank you for your response, but unfortunately, it only confirms the core issue of my complaint — a complete lack of transparency and specificity in your company’s actions.You claim that my account was closed for a valid reason, yet you fail to provide a single concrete explanation or specify which rule I allegedly violated. This is a typical canned response that conveniently avoids accountability for decisions that directly impact your users.Like you, I also respect international regulations and terms of service. I used Payoneer within the allowed framework and adhered to all the rules. Despite this, my account was shut down without any prior notice or clear justification, and every attempt to get a proper explanation from your support team has been met with vague, copy-pasted replies like the one you posted here.If you truly value your users’ trust, you should be willing to communicate your actions transparently and respectfully, especially when it comes to financial services.Your approach seriously undermines confidence in your platform and raises a legitimate concern: what stops you from closing another user’s account tomorrow without reason? Why are users not entitled to understand what they supposedly did wrong?Payoneer, with all due respect, saying “we comply with regulations” is not an answer — it’s an excuse to avoid responsibility.
DO NOT USE! I USED THEM AS CHATGPT HAD ADVISED& HONESTLY THE BIGGEST MISTAKE! THEY CHARGED ME ?115 AND DID NOT RECIEVE MY GOODS ON THE DATES ADVISED, COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED ON ME. WHEN I CHASED IT THEY ADVISED THEY WILL NOT REFUND ME !! DO NOT USE, WORSE COMPANY EVER
