Apollo Phantom

I love riding my Apollo Phantom every chance I can get. The speed and the RBS is so clutch. One of the best scooters I experienced by far.

Regret This Purchase: Poor Quality and Support

I purchased directly from Apollo Scooters'???no middleman'???hoping for a seamless experience. Out of the box, the ride was great for one mile. Then I got an E7 error on the front motor. Support? A ticket was logged and AI responded, but I received no real follow-up. Phone support goes straight to voicemail. No help there either.Adding insult to injury, a brand ambassador replied to my negative review before support ever got back to me. Apparently, I need to replace the motor on a brand new scooter. Is there a zero-star option?06/03 Update: Support asked me to watch a DIY video to check the motor wiring. I learned I'???d have to break the waterproof seal and repair it with hot glue. I discovered the cover panel was already cracked, so much for the IP rating.06/04 Update: Apollo offered to send me a new motor and let me install it myself, or ship the scooter back. They also suggested a local repair partner, who would charge me. Either way, I'???d be left patching up a brand-new scooter like it'???s refurbished.06/05 Update: Apollo waived shipping on the new motor (as if that'???s a favor), but I'???m still left to fix it myself. If I shipped it back and it got damaged, that would be my problem. Bottom line: after spending just under $1,000, I'???m doing Apollo'???s repair work for them.Will I end up with a working scooter? Maybe. But based on my experience, I can say with full confidence: I will never buy from Apollo again. Their quality control is poor, and their customer support pushes their problems onto paying customers. I strongly recommend staying away.

I have the Apollo go, and I love it. The handling is really well, and the scooter feels high quality. I do wish the battery was bigger, but overall great scooter!

Great service and fantastic product!

Scooter was delivered very fast and I needed some support for a torn tyre. They were very responsive, understanding and helpful throughout the process so I'm looking forward to getting on my scooter to go to work! Initial test rides were awesome on the Apollo Go, a big upgrade to what I used to have.

Apollo Go - 6'???3 265lb

Went with the Apollo Go and it'???s great overall. I find it to be the perfect combo of power and stability while keeping the weight of the unit reasonable enough to actually commute with. Regen braking is great as it saves your rear drum brake but I wish both were stronger on this unit which is probably more of a factor at my weight. Currently I take it to work (2 mi) and most of it fits tucked by my desk in a cubicle. It'???s great for local errands and I would even consider lugging it up or down a flight of stairs for the train in certain situations. Overall the build quality and experience has been great and to my understanding there is a local shop authorized to repair Apollo units in the NYC area which is comforting. Would love to see the wireless charging removed from the Pro model brought into the Phantom 2.0 and all units with quad lock moving forward.

Update: Apollo reached out to explain the delay and accommodated my request.I purchased an Apollo Air scooter and the drum break broke within 4 months (the steel literally snapped in half). After discovering this wasn't under warranty, I purchased a replacement drum break at Apollo's direction; unfortunately, they sent a drum break that doesn't fit my scooter. Customer Service told me it was a manufacturing defect, but instead of immediately sending me the correct part and providing a refund, I have been left waiting over two weeks to learn how they are going to support. The worst part is that I told them my scooter is my primary mode of transportation, but I have been left hanging.At this point, I don't know if I should be disputing my credit card charge or making a breach of contract claim. If I received even average customer service, this review would have been avoided. This is so frustrating since I liked the product up until this experience.
