Previously owned a rigid-frame scooter and holy guacamole does the suspension on my GO make a massive difference in ride comfort! Sidewalks used to be a jaw-rattling experience (not that I use them very often... but still) and I don't even think about it anymore.Acceleration is snappy enough to put a smile on anyone's face and it reaches top speed easily... it will actually roll faster than it's rated top speed, which makes downhill travel even more exhilarating, if you dare (you can always use the regen brake if you feel uncomfortable). The IP66 rating is pretty rad, we plan to take these with us RVing and it's great knowing that these units aren't limited to sunny weather (even if we are).I love it so much, I just bought another Apollo for my wife -- we've been ripping around, terrorizing the youngin's haha (we're in our 40's). 10/10 Recommend.
Model: Apollo City 2024The scooter itself is phenomenal'???truly a beast. It's powerful, fast (honestly faster than I even dare to go), and the regen brake is so effective that I haven'???t even needed to touch the drum brakes yet. The range is solid, and the included charger takes the battery from 0 to 100% in around 7'???8 hours, which is perfectly acceptable for daily commutes. That said, I'???m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to a few issues'???none of them deal-breakers, but all fixable:1. Kickstand stabilityThe kickstand is too tall and mounted only on the left side. It keeps the scooter almost perfectly vertical, which makes it extremely unstable'???just a light breeze and it can tip over. A center kickstand (the kind that lifts the front wheel) or simply shortening the current one would solve the problem. Until then, don'???t trust the kickstand alone'???lean your scooter against something for safety.2. The app'???s navigation feature is broken (on Android)The app has a lot of promise, with features like customization for top speeds, braking, and acceleration modes, and showing current speed and battery level'???all great. But the navigation feature is extremely frustrating. It won'???t save my Home or Work addresses no matter how many times I try, and searching for a destination often doesn'???t work'???tapping on a result does nothing. The only workaround is to manually find the location on the map and tap on it, which defeats the purpose. You'???re better off using Google Maps.3. Headlight is too weakThe headlight (or front light) is just not bright enough for safe night use. At this price point, I expected something more functional. As it stands, it's only usable in well-lit areas'???definitely not for darker paths or unlit roads.4. Turn indicator placementThe turn signals are split'???left on the left handlebar, right on the right. This forces you to remove your thumb from the accelerator to signal a right turn. Both indicators should be on the left handlebar for easier, safer use. It's a small change that would make a big difference in day-to-day comfort.Overall:Despite these issues, the Apollo City 2024 is a fantastic scooter. It's fast, powerful, has great braking and range, and feels incredibly well built. With a few tweaks'???especially to the kickstand, app, and lights'???it would be perfect. Highly recommended, but I do hope Apollo listens to feedback and makes some of these fixes in future updates.
The customer service made my experience great. The before help and follow ups have certainly impressed me. Now, the Apollo City itself is truly amazing. The build is sleek and good looking. I weigh a good 250 lbs and it handles perfectly. I'll never own another scooter.
I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the scooter. I purchased the Phantom V4 is incredibly fast incredibly capable off-road, which I was not expecting the range and the battery have been phenomenal. I have put on over 150 km on it in the last week I can'???t say enough good things. I will most definitely be purchasing more scooters in the future from this company. This is the single best piece of quality technology I have seen recently and I buy a lot of dumb things. This is by far the least regrettable purchase I'???ve made.'?? ? ?
Some people criticize Apollo Scooters its all because needing maintenance after regular use is always the priority before riding it but that hasn'???t changed my loyalty. I ride my Apollo Go every day, and it'???s never let me down. Big respect to the team wishing you more success ahead!
I recently made my first e-scooter purchase with Apollo Scooters, and I couldn'???t be happier with the experience! From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was a top-tier product. The design is sleek, modern, and feels incredibly well-built'???definitely not your average scooter.Performance-wise, the speed and range exceeded my expectations. It handles city streets like a champ and has more than enough power and battery life for my daily commutes. The ride is smooth, stable, and actually fun'???I find myself looking forward to using it every day!On top of that, Apollo'???s customer service was excellent. They were responsive, helpful, and made the whole buying process seamless. As a first-time buyer, I had a few questions, and their team made sure I felt supported every step of the way.Overall, I'???m thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend Apollo Scooters to anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance electric scooter.
