Denis at Halfords Dundalk was awesome

Denis at Halfords Dundalk was awesome. He was really helpful in advice on the right tyres to buy, fitted them , was really chatting, provided a lot of useful information about the tyres, valves , correct technique for changing tyres to avoid tube twisting , rotation direction etc etc. This is an experienced guy who has great product knowledge and knows how to talk to customers. I am impressed ! Great Job Denis👏🏻

Looked on line to purchase oil and air.

Looked on line to purchase oil and air filter for my car. I entered the registration number as requested on the website to ensure I got correct parts, which they displayed. I decided instead to call in the shop and get them of the shelf. When I took the parts to the counter the assistant entered the car registration and said the parts I got from the shelf were incorrect and as it was Saturday he would get them for Monday. I took the parts back to the store today as the prices charged were much higher than shown on the website. Luckily I hadn't purchased them from the website and had them delivered as they would have been wrong! I ended up with someone in south africa to deal with my problem (ref no.27045795) When I explained all this in the shop they just said they would pass on this issue, but made no offer of compensation or credit for the extra cost and my fuel returning to the store. The website needs checking for these mistakes. Won't be going to Halfords again!!

Very rude and unhelpful

Very rude and unhelpful 3 1/2 hours to change 4 tyres also never got my free brake check that I booked for never again will I go back to Halfords I won’t be renewing my premium membership we I asked about their best the price policy I was told no despite their advertising saying otherwise shoddy treatment and company

BATTERY WITH 5 YEAR WARRANTY

BATTERY WITH 5 YEAR WARRANTY, did not use car for 3 weeks battery went flat , nothing wrong with car or charging system, battery will not take a charge , Halfrauds check it and say not a warranty fault , but cannot tell me what the fault is , just a case of computer says no, ?152.00 for a battery with a warranty for 5 years, DO NOT BELIEVE IT

Please remove the dreadful Pride flags.

Please remove the dreadful Pride flags from your shops. It's a political sign and not appropriate. Did you not "welcome everyone" before? I will not be shopping at Halfords whilst it is there. Listen to you customers. I have previously praised your staff, but speaking to several, they too feel uncomfortable with this.

Halfords Sheldon Birmingham disgusting attitudes

Halfords Sheldon Birmingham , Disgusting attitudes , I have spent over ?5000 in four years on bikes from halfords but wont be spending another penny with them again , Bike ride this morning , 23 miles from home and back trye goes down , luckily I was half a mile from this store , So I popped in and asked them if they could fit me a new inner tube , to which the response was unbelievable , them "have you booked in " well obviously not its just happened ,them "cant do it without a booking as we have to assess it " , assess what I need an inner tube ffs , Ok , I will book online on my phone now , Them " no time now fully booked , you will have to book for another day and come back" , all i wanted was a new innertube on my back wheel , ten minute job and they refused point blank to even entertain it , walked out speechless and telephoned my wife to come and pick me and the bike up as I did not fancy walking 23 miles with a bike with a flat tyre , disgusting attitude all round from the staff , will be going to independents in future .

Visited the Banbury store this morning and was assisted by Mikey, he approached to offer help and was very friendly. I was just browsing today but will definitely visit again - great customer service!

Honest,Helpful,and open.

Today i went to the branch in West Hendon and spoke to Peter about my car wipers.Upon advise I returned with my car. Peter didnt over promise,instead he checked the fuses and was thorough in looking for any initial reasons why they were not working(rather than just saying i needed a new motor.) before he gave his opinion.I felt like he as least cared,whereas other places seemed to jump to the most costly option

Charged card but no service, terrible customer service

Charged my card for mobile tyre change but no confirmation email from them and the engineer did not arrive. Incredibly hard to find out how to dispute this to get a refund.
