Looked on line to purchase oil and air filter for my car. I entered the registration number as requested on the website to ensure I got correct parts, which they displayed. I decided instead to call in the shop and get them of the shelf. When I took the parts to the counter the assistant entered the car registration and said the parts I got from the shelf were incorrect and as it was Saturday he would get them for Monday. I took the parts back to the store today as the prices charged were much higher than shown on the website. Luckily I hadn't purchased them from the website and had them delivered as they would have been wrong! I ended up with someone in south africa to deal with my problem (ref no.27045795) When I explained all this in the shop they just said they would pass on this issue, but made no offer of compensation or credit for the extra cost and my fuel returning to the store. The website needs checking for these mistakes. Won't be going to Halfords again!!
