What a sh** customer support

What a shi** customer support. I used NameCheap for a year & never had to wait for this much that Siteground had me wait, and what a sh*** behavior when you finally get to the human support.When my site was sh***ing due to their Speed/Security optimizer plugin, the agent had me waiting indefinitely without a response. I would never recommend it. I wish I had tested Siteground before migrating my website.

I am extremely disappointed with the poor and unprofessional customer service I'?€™ve received. I'?€™ve been paying a premium for their services, only to experience some of the worst support imaginable. The silver lining is that, fortunately, we now have the ability to switch to a different provider.After nearly a year of using their services, I received an email stating that my MySQL database had exceeded its limit. The issue is that this was never made clear when I signed up'?€”such limitations were carefully hidden from view. Given the amount of content and posts on my website, it'?€™s not a simple task to reduce the database size. The only option they offered was to upgrade my plan from $17/month to $100/month, which is unreasonable for a small business.As a result, I'?€™ve decided to transfer my website to Rocket.com, which offers unlimited MySQL databases for just $30/month, and they provide top-tier service, unlike SiteGround. Unfortunately, SiteGround only seems to care about extracting money from customers while providing a subpar service experience. As a result, they've now lost two accounts from me.I would strongly advise being cautious when dealing with them. They hide important information and make it difficult to understand the full scope of their limitations. If you can avoid them, I highly recommend doing so to save yourself time, money, and frustration. Unfortunately, I wasted far too much time trying to resolve this issue. Stay away!

I Don't Like Lying in Order to Get Support

I'm only rating this interaction a "3" because of how hard SiteGround made it to get to a chat. Knowledgebase is not a chat and unless I lie and say "That didn't work for me." (twice) the ability to chat would not present itself. The chat itself was spot on and SiteGround's support is among the best I've ever witnessed. Just know you'll have to jump through hoops and possibly be dishonest in order to receive support.

Avoid if your business relies on reliable email

I moved my hosting to SiteGround and immediately started having problems receiving crucial voicemail notification emails from our VOIP provider. The sender has correct PTR records and the emails come through perfectly fine when sent to any other provider, including our previous host. SiteGround's servers consistently block these emails.Their technical support repeatedly told me they cannot whitelist IP addresses or domains. Our previous host had no issue doing this. Every response from SiteGround felt like going around in circles. They kept asking for bounce-back headers, despite me explaining several times that I am the recipient, not the sender, so I do not receive any bounce-backs.The end result was that they confirmed they are unable to whitelist and told me their email service is only a complimentary add-on. This was never made clear when signing up. They refused to offer a refund even though the service is not fit for purpose. They pointed to their 30-day refund policy, even though the issue only became clear after we were fully switched over and already missing important voicemails from customers.I am now forced to move hosting again just to be able to reliably receive my business emails. The customer service has been incredibly poor with no flexibility, no real help, and no concern for the impact on my business.If you need reliable email for your business, avoid SiteGround.

Great services but .unfortunately

Great services but .unfortunately they took my money and refused to give it back to me.Be careful as they auto subscribe you to services and if you don't opt out they will take your money from your card from a previous transaction. I contacted them immediately after they took the payment and they refused to refund me. I explained to them that I didnt want the service and I would like a refund but was told tough luck as they don't do refunds. I should have opted out but I feel like any company shouldn't take money and say you should have opted out. Doesn't see fair to me. Shame as I liked the services but I will leave and go elsewhere now.

They Are Getting Worse :(

Quick assistance, although they often take too long to understand the problem. Hosting is okay, but prices are high compared to competitors. Every additional service, even small things, significantly increases the prices. Initially, to attract clients, their prices were reasonable, but now they are going overboard. I purchased the email marketing package only to discover that it is not possible to create a second administrator/collaborator to handle graphics and sending. So, if I have people I pay, I have to do everything myself. Or I am forced to give out my personal account. This issue has been going on for months, and they still haven't done anything to fix it. I hope they wake up!

Answer wasn't helpful at all. I had an access code and telephone number and when I called, it said it wasn't available. Not interested in chat. It takes 10 times the effort with generally limited results.

High Failure Rate: Server Connectivity Error! Dont use Siteground

High Failure Rate: Server Connectivity Error!I am facing an error " High Failure Rate: Server Connectivity Error!" in my Google Search Console ( GSC ), and the site ground is not solving. I connected with support and they are just denying on the Stats of the Google Search Console. I shown them proofs but the sitegournd agent is just trying to escape away by saying " its ok , no issue from our side". My Site ranking dropped to 80% due to high failure rate by the host ( due to this error user cannot land on your site ) and they (siteground ) are just saying no issues. I told you guys don't ever use it, my 80+ batchmates are facing the same error. If I have an option to give them a negative 5 stars I will happily use it.
