Discrimination by this company

Discrimination by this company. Which is a criminal offense! The special military operation will end sooner or later, but lawsuits against such companies will go on forever!

SiteGround Slyly Steals Up On You

I started out with SiteGround in April of 2016. I've stayed loyal to this company for over 8 1/2 years and I've had 2 accounts with them, hosting multiple websites. While the initial value for service was amazing, and their customer service used to be stellar, as the years have gone on, I've noticed there is a price increase every few months, (especially if you can't afford to pay $45-$60/month for several years in advance. (We're talking about SHARED, WordPress hosting here,--nothing fancy.) It's a shame because along with the price increase, it's no longer possible to pick up the phone and call them, and it's almost impossible to live chat with anyone either. I realized several days too late that one of my hosting accounts had expired. (Had been with them for 7 years with that account.). I decided I couldn't face paying over $55/month for shared WordPress hosting anymore, so went to another hosting company. I thought my backups had been working, however, the company that I had purchased a "lifetime" subscription through had changed their plugin, so even though I have "a" backup, it's not usable. The new hosting company told me that SiteGround should have a backup. I went back to their site, and they do,--however, I have to sign back up with them and pay them for my own backup that I've already paid for? After 7 years of paying ever increasing prices, and I'm not legally entitled to 1 backup of my website without being forced to sign back up with them and pay them? This seems like extortion after the amount of money I've already paid them. To add insult to injury, they charged me for my other account today. I can't get away from this company fast enough, and it's genuinely sad,--after almost 9 years. I've never ever been with a hosting company this long. Ever. But, when greed and lack of customer service prevails, it's most definitely time to move on. Hopefully I will be able to enlist some help in order to obtain 1 measly backup of my website after being a loyal customer for the past 7 years. Time will tell. I went back to their site again,--and it says "24/7 In-house Live Support Round-the-clock help by an in-house team," however, there's no way to call or click on a live chat button. I was paying for their top tier, "GoGeek" however, am also finding that the perks they advertise such as spam blocking on the email and website certainly isn't accurate. My email was a disaster of junk, (no filters applied as promised), and they use your website for their own SEO backlink purposes, especially if they think you don't notice. Also, when you do get in touch with someone regarding whatever issue you're having with your website, expect them to attempt to charge you to help. They will try to make any issue YOUR fault, and one thing I noticed from day one, NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, is ever their fault. Not one time have I ever had anyone at SiteGround take responsibility for anything. It is always your fault or someone else's fault,-- but never theirs. Also, expect that even thought the word "unlimited" is used, they will regularly take down your website(s), even though it is very small due to "exceeding usage." It's surprising that the FTC hasn't stepped in to charge this company with fraudulent advertising. Perhaps today they aren't marketing the same thing as they were when I signed up over 8 1/2 years ago, however, that doesn't give them the legal right to change the terms of service that I signed up for and agreed to.Again, very, very disappointed to have to leave this review.

Responsive and trying

Responsive and trying, but was unable to resolve issue and had to "escalate" it to a support ticket.
