Review Time
Our MSC cruise from Durban to Naples was apparently cancelled back in September. Seascanner never advised us!! We found out about this cancellation completely by accident while googling something. On Tuesday 5th November I naturally requested a refund of my payment to them of '? ?674.90 through their '???chat'?? line which by the way, took ages. They ended the '???chat'?? with '???I'm afraid we need a bit more time to further investigate this case in particular, is it ok if we continue this over email?'?? It'???s now Friday 8th November and I'???ve heard absolutely nothing from them. Extremely frustrating to say the least. It is now the 22nd November and although Seascanner have since been in contact with me, I still haven'???t received my deposit back! Not impressed with them at all '????It'???s the 25th Nov and I'???ve FINALLY received my deposit back.
Naomi from SeaScanner is always efficient,Professional and helpful. Her customer services is excellent and when she promised to assist you with the bookings and inquiries she never failed to deliver. SeaScanner has an excellent credibility. My friend been booking their flights and holidays with them and they always deliver high performance. No complaints. You can get also competitive prices on cruises and flights. Also, their website is very easy to use. Naomi and other staff from sea scanner are great asset to their companies.
Mitch was extremely helpful in resolving an issue with my MSC discount code for my booking. He took the time to understand my issue initially when I had been passed around by other customer service agents from different companies and given incorrect contact numbers. He then promptly made direct contact and solved my issue with MSC the following day before ensuring I could make the correct booking at the discounted price as advertised. Excellent customer service!
Fantasic price - cheapest that I found online. I was initially a bit wary about dealing with a solely online company but the service I have received from Liz has been brilliant. Prompt and friendly replies to all my email questions - and very helpful. Thank you!
I have booked a cruise with Seascanner from a UK based search engine on the internet.I have had nothing but great difficulties in communicating with them as they are ignoring my repeated but polite requests to write in English to me rather than in German.I have tried ringing them but the phone provided does not connect. I felt so concerned that I feared I had been scammed. However in speaking with the Cruise line itself I was given reassurance that my booking was in order. Sadly the Cruise Line could not take over from Seascanner and deal with my check-in or the follow up queries I had. I had to resort to Google translate to fill in all documents, which was extremely painful, and I foresee further great difficulties to the point that I doubt I will be able to make the most of this holiday. I keep being defaulted to German even on the cruise app, therefore I will be unable to learn with ease about the ship'???s program onboard. As the phone number provided by Seascanner doesn'???t work, I asked them via email to please phone me as I was concerned about a communication breakdown and reminded them of the language barrier. They replied in English, I quote their reply: '???There is no "communication breakdown". You can contact us if you have a question but we as travel agency do not have a question so we will not contact you from our side'???. I provided them with screenshots of my multiple attempts to phone them, all featuring as '???call cancelled'???. Seascanner however did not contact me even after showing this!I am frankly speechless and do not recommend them unless you are familiar with the German language. Very very poor customer service.
