Review of Seascanner
I have booked a cruise with Seascanner from a UK based search engine on the internet.I have had nothing but great difficulties in communicating with them as they are ignoring my repeated but polite requests to write in English to me rather than in German.I have tried ringing them but the phone provided does not connect. I felt so concerned that I feared I had been scammed. However in speaking with the Cruise line itself I was given reassurance that my booking was in order. Sadly the Cruise Line could not take over from Seascanner and deal with my check-in or the follow up queries I had. I had to resort to Google translate to fill in all documents, which was extremely painful, and I foresee further great difficulties to the point that I doubt I will be able to make the most of this holiday. I keep being defaulted to German even on the cruise app, therefore I will be unable to learn with ease about the ship'???s program onboard. As the phone number provided by Seascanner doesn'???t work, I asked them via email to please phone me as I was concerned about a communication breakdown and reminded them of the language barrier. They replied in English, I quote their reply: '???There is no "communication breakdown". You can contact us if you have a question but we as travel agency do not have a question so we will not contact you from our side'???. I provided them with screenshots of my multiple attempts to phone them, all featuring as '???call cancelled'???. Seascanner however did not contact me even after showing this!I am frankly speechless and do not recommend them unless you are familiar with the German language. Very very poor customer service.
