Mammotion products are great

Products of Mammotion are great! They are robust while being on the latest technology. They offer a brand new way of mowing the garden. I bought a Yuka with the sweeper and I am really delighted with the products. Products is one side, but their support is as well excellent ! I have experienced their support and they are kind, professional and very reactive. They offer good advice and do a follow up end to end until the issue has been fixed. Its seldom to see such good service. I am extremely happy with Mammotion and would recommend them without any hesitation !

Horrible support, be aware

I like the mower, but the support is awful.Awful is an understatement, I would say non existent.I have waited months for my spare blades that didnt come with the mower, even though I paid for them.I have contacted support 34 times about this issue and only got the initial we are sorry email every time.After that, silence.Their support is most likely an AI, not even kidding. And on their official luba facebook group they are deleting negative comments and are leaving negative posts pending.Instead of that group where they are admin, you should check out mammotion luba issues.

I like the Luba mower

I like the Luba mower. When I can schedule when it mows and I dont have to worry about starting, charging, perimeter wires, or even the plants in the yard. However, I wish I could edit the no cut zones without deleting the entire zone and reprogramming it. I am disabled and that is a real challenge for me.

The Luba 5K is very effective in an area with open skys and flat to mostly flat ground. With good GPS position it is spot on mowing designated areas.Its only shortcomings, to date, are the wheels when on hills over 15 or so. The tread wont hold the hill when turning and it can slide into areas outside programmed boundaries. This looks more like the tread design than a programming issue.There is no manual mode for mowing small areas or areas it has difficulty navigating.These are relatively small annoyances compared to the overall effectiveness of the unit. Regular program updates have provided a more user friendly platform and are easily in automatically installed. Cleaning and maintenance on the unit is simple with a small hex wrench. The biggest drawback is probably a lack of realtime customer service.

Impressive technology

Ive edited my original review of 1 star to 4 stars. I had big problems with delivery, but it did arrive and they did apologise and explain they had problems with logistics.So the mower is very impressive. No wire required and very easy to set up and configureI cant give it 5 stars though. The mini has a bit of an issue. It has the same big wheels as the full size Luba. Theyre quite fat. It doesnt get stuck and its climbing ability is very goodBUT! As it only has a single cutting disk it needs to go backwards and forwards over the same grass. Sure, its slower at getting the lawn cut, I was expecting thatI didnt realise it was going to be very good at flattening the grass, leaving some of the grass uncut

Problem solved

Just purchased a Yuka Mini. It worked fine for 2 weeks. Now it stopped working and the socalled chatsupport sucks! No reply and its the same autogenerated answers in their chat.They refuse to take the mower back and there is no solution to why it stopped working.UPDATEChat support is not a success. So after I called them and talked them I did manage to get a new Yuka Mini nsent to my address.Its now 3 stars and I recommend the mover just skip their chat and call them if you have any problems.

Lawn Automation Works

When Luba is working and all the perimeter edges are set, it is a great automated product. It works by schedule and has been almost self sufficient. I save hours each week on our 3 acre lawn. It does get lost, or get stuck on occasion and then usually a couple of button presses and it gets back on track. Occasionally you will have to lug the over 40 lb machine back to its charging station We use a golf cart. It is not always clear why it looses connection or locks up, but as the software updates occur, the performance is improving.

Finally arrived

Preordered a LUBA mini 800 AWD on 08 January with an estimated delivery date of March. Was assured on 04 April that it would be shipped in early April for delivery in 27 working days. After repeated chasing by email and live chat was then told on 22 April that my order had been prioritised for delivery between 2529 April. Chased again on 24 April because I had heard nothing, and was assured that I would receive a response from our team within the next two working days. That didnt happen. Still no mower. Im now getting no response at all from live chat. The worrying thing is that the order tracking showed that the mower was on its way on 28 March and is showing as fulfilled but with no shipping information or tracking number. Absolutely dreadful customer experience so far and Im not sure what else I can do at this point.The order number is M4301UK, just in case anyone from Mammotion is reading this and would like to resolve this problem for me.UPDATE The mower has finally arrived. Looking forward to unboxing.

A learning experience for both Luba and myself

Have had the unit for about a month and am satisfied with the results. My back yard is fenced in and has a row of shrubs abut 5 feet from the fence and a row of trees about 5 feet from the shrubs in two locations. The front has areas on both sides of the driveway so I set up 3 areas with paths in between. I have been experimenting with the various settings to minimize the manual trimming in these treeshrub areas. So far I have tried no go zones around each of the 25 trees and two long zones around two groups of trees. The tree trunks are about 3 inch diameter and 4 feet apart. For the first use I mapped the yard without any no go zones to test the obstacle detectionavoidance. The unit required assistance 3 or 4 times to reposition from it being stuck in the shrubs. After that decided the no go zones would be required and Luba was able to complete the back yard without manual repositioning.Some suggestions for the software based on my yard. Increase the number of perimeter passes settings to 8 or 9 to allow cutting between the two rows of shrubstrees as the mowing in that area is now hit or miss. As the distance from the front and side of the Luba is different, it would be helpful to have Luba cut closer to the no go zone when traveling parallel to the zone rather than using the larger front distance needed when approaching the zone perpendicular. I have not yet found a way to label the cutting areas and as a result need to change settings for each area as last setting is retained. Last would suggest using a different type of head on the blade retention screws so less downward force is required to remove the screws for blade replacement. A torx, Allen head, or square drive would require less force to remove the screw which would reduce the force on the blade disc.The performance on open lawn is very good and the multiple options for height, cut overlap, straight, crosshatch, and angle are all useful features.I recommend this product.

I have been using the Luba daily for

I have been using the Luba daily for the passed month and there is good and bad. There needs to be a way to unlock luba when it goes into lock down without being in person or a way to wifi control the unit, as well. I used to have another brand of robotic lawn mower where you could manually engage the blades and control the unit into areas you dont have it go, are not being cut, etc. So far it has been an 810 but it is starting to kill the Gras in multiple spots of my lawn, especially at the end of channels where areas are connecting.

Non-existent after-sales service and incessant breakdowns

Hello,I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Mammotion and their aftersales service. I purchased the Luba 2 lawn mower 3000 m2 in midMay with high expectations, but after just a few weeks of use, I encountered multiple issues and the mower is now completely out of service.Right from the start, one of the cutting blades cracked after a week of use due to a piece of metal on the lawn. Subsequently, I began experiencing recurring errors related to firmware bugs, severely affecting the robots performance. Within a month, the robot could only mow at a height of 35 mm, with all other cutting heights causing it to completely stop error 1202. Despite my numerous attempts to find a solution with their customer service, no satisfactory response has been provided. I am not alone in facing these issues, as evidenced by another users video on YouTube. More recently, new malfunctions errors 323, 325, and 1004 affecting the overload of cutting blades and tilt sensors have rendered the robot completely unusable.Unfortunately, Mammotions aftersales support has been utterly ineffective and frustrating. I ordered a set of cutting blades on May 31 to address the initial issue, and despite their repeated assurances and my numerous reminders, I have still not received this part two months later. They claim to have it in stock at their European warehouse with a promised delivery within 10 days, but there has been no concrete action taken to date. Additionally, they charged me twice for this purchase 2 x 79 euros and have yet to refund one of these amounts as promised.In conclusion, I strongly advise against purchasing from Mammotion and risking encountering similar malfunctions. Paying 2600 euros for a robot that breaks down after a week and becomes unusable within two months is unacceptable. While functional when operating correctly, their product clearly exhibits significant design flaws, and their customer service leaves much to be desired. I urge you to steer clear of this purchase. I am compelled to share my dissatisfaction on various forums and online platforms to warn potential customers, and I intend to seek assistance from the DGCCRF in resolving this matter.Please exercise caution.Best regards,

No Customer support

No Customer supportThe customer support for the LUBA 2 is non existent. I have found that as the RFK transmitter is manufactured in China, it is not manufactured to UK specifications.This means that it is unshielded and the signal that it emits may disrupt signals to other electronic devices and cause them to stop working.I am yet to receive any support from Mammotion regarding this issue.In addition the sales specs say that the LUBA 2 5000 can mow lawns up to 5,000M2. NO IT CANNOT. I have a lawn area that is 1,800m2 I reduced the mowing area to this size in an attempt to mow it in one go, my actual lawn area is c3,500m2 the LUBA 2 is unable on an economy cut to cut this area 1,800m2 in one go. By splitting the area into 2 smaller lawn areas of c900m each it can cut each one in half a day. It still needs to return to base to recharge at least once to accomplish the mowing of each area of lawn. There is no way that there is enough time in a week given the continual recharging and dew on the lawns in the morning for this mower to mow 5,000m2, unless you have absolutely perfect conditions. In addition it is unable to mow in low light conditions, so will stop in the evening. So are limited to window between about midday and 8pm to mow.It has never managed to mow for more than 12hrs at a time, so where the specs come from that say it can mow 5,000m2 are just not true. I still have to use a ride on mower and self propelled mower to cover everything that it is unable to achieve which is about 50 of my lawn area.If you have a lawn of c900m then perfect it can go out every other day and I am sure that you will have a decent looking lawn.Any larger area and it will get clogged in the morning dew or very light rain, so midday onwards for mowing is really your only option for a lot of the year.In order to keep a decent lawn you will have to get it to the optimum height with regular rideonmanual mowing first. Anything longer than just a trim and the mower will struggle to mulch it and you will be left with tufts everywhere, or the mower stranded as it has become blocked.
