I wish I could leave 0 stars. This company took over 400 euros from me for a service never provided. They pretend they will reimburse you and they allow you to pay a premium (ticket with option to cancel) even 24 hours before the ferry departure but when you try to cancel they say you have to do it at least 48 hours before. The fact that they do not offer a refund even though you contact them before the ferry departure to let them know you want to cancel is just a terrible experience. The customer support - Amalia - is the worst support I'? ? ?ve ever seen in my life. Truly disappointing
I found the site very misleading. My son booked a Dover to Calais Ferry. Had no idea that he would have to specify that he was travelling by car as overwhelming use is by car. This is the only major site that doesnt ask.I book crossings every few weeks, never come across one like this.So booked and paid '? ?70 more than the main competitors or direct with the 3 ferry companies. Be very careful of what you book with these people as the prices I tried after he made the mistake were far higher than normal, up to twice the amount. I would steer clear.To be clear it was my son William Kane Clubb that booked the ticket. I booked crossings on the same day direct with the same company at '? ?70 less, it was P. he didnt know that it was cheaper to book direct by a considerable margin, he believed your headline of 'from '? ?26' or similar which I assume was foot passenger
Have used them for years. Website is fairly simple to use but if you get stuck or have any questions staff are fantastic and email you very quickly if answers to any problems you have. Very friendly helpful staff and excellent customer service
Today our ferry from Mykonos to Paros has been canceled due to bad weather (ref .B138265549). FerryScanner doesn't have a phone number, nobody answers on the chat/email (only bots), and there is no way to cancel, refound or change the tickets online or in the App...So they are good with marketing and selling, but have no customer care at all. We have no boat and no refound thanks to FerryScanner
