Review Time
I'm a new customer purchased piano for 699.00 paid $45 dollars up front after that they took $785.00 out of my bank with out authority to do .said it was delivery charge The product is still at the store I want my money back the account number is 21332306 I'm the new one
They suck. 2 times I I tried ordering from there recommended stores such as Walmart. Go to check out and choose katapult and it acts like it will go through and then the email says Walmart cancelled order because of katapult. First time they gave me my money back this time it's been over 72 hours and no one has contacted me. Screw them there thieves
I've used, or tried to use, this company 4 times and had problems every time. I will only address the most recent. Went to place an order via Lowe's for some patio furniture, and knew from experience that their app is buggy so was very careful. The website is not updated at ALL and Lowe's isn't even an option on the website (and several stores LISTED on the website aren't even still available, which you don't find out until you go through hours of trying, unsuccessfully, to order) so I did it via the app. After trying for nearly 2 hours last night, with the app locking up every time as I neared the final step of the process (which required starting all over) I finally got it to work earlier today. At the final step when I put in a credit card number for the down payment it did not go through and I realized my name rather than my husband's was on the auto fill in, so I changed the name and it went through. I got a text and email with an order confirmation--everything seemed ok. Then I got a text from my bank saying that a large charge was going through the bank account. The ENTIRE AMOUNT was charging via Lowes, NOT Katapult. I never left the Katapult site, never had any sort of notice about it. When I finally managed to find a phone number from an old order (the chat function only works if your problem fits in a narrow list of possibilities and no phone is listed in the app) and called, the rep said that because the card didn't go through the first time that when I corrected the info it was ordered in full directly from Lowes. This is ridiculous and terrible website and order design (I work with this stuff in real life and if companies I worked for did this, there would be a law suit so quickly we wouldn't know what happened). In prior experiences with Katapult I've paid off a loan within 90 days, got confirmation of it and STILL had the monthly payments deduct every month until I called to inform them of it. They have the potential to be a great service, but the unprofessional and "buggy" system is not ready the way it is & they don't really seem to care. I can see if this was a one-time issue, but every order with them has had issues. And we're not even talking about the times I tried to order from companies listed on their site that ended up not really working with them, or for items that can't be purchased for some reason.
