Disappointing quality

We have the Karcher pressure washer K5 only been used a few times bought it last year. Absolutely disgusted how quickly it broke supposed to be a premium product. We will never buy from Karcher ever again.i have been onto your customer service team with this complaint

Replaced a long used Karcher with a K2

Replaced a long used Karcher with a K2, it leaked, was sent back and the replacement leaked also. Seems like the quality of this brand has dropped, too many plastic parts where before thye were more robust. Pity as the brand has a quality name but it wont last if the keep churning out failing plastic junk like this.

Waiting for a replacement K5

We ordered a K5 Power Control while on promotion and received it in 23 days. Despite the box being perfect, the pressure washer had a cracked body. Customer services were helpful and agreed to a replacement a week later, but after a few days we received a call to say there were no K5s in the country and Id either have to wait a few weeks or return the product for a full refund.Why commit to an exchange date when none are in stock?If the box was undamaged, was a broken product put in it in the factory?I must say Im rather unimpressed ordering direct.

Karcher Jet-Washer - disappointing service

Bought a very expensive Karcher jet washer with an integral chemical dispenser. It broke within just a few months. It then took months and months to have the unit collected, including an entire wasted day waiting for collection that never happened. The unit was finally collected, repaired and returned weeks later with absolutely no communication from Karcher. The unit arrived home only for me to find the plug bent. Its a 010 for Karcher customer services.

K5 Registration, Warranty and First Use

Update to my earlier review after 1st use.Got a K5 to replace an old K4 which started to lose power intermitently. There were no printed instructions in the box, so had to download the app and access the manual from there to put the washer together. Cleaned patio ok, but no better than the K4 when that worked. The only real positive was the long hose 8m I think. The power indicators on the trigger are a gimmick and add nothing. The biggest problem is the storage. The hose storage is a waste of time, you cannot loop the hose as its too stiff. There is nowhere for the power lead or wrap and the holder for the wands does not seem to hold both of them. Im pretty sure that the K4 has more effective storage for these. It did the patio ok, but it will be my last Karcher as I dont see any reason to pay the premium price.Purchased a K5 pressure washer online via the karcher website. After ordering, there were no updates and nothing on the website to indicate when I might receive the product, which was finally delivered after 10 days. Went to register the K5 to take advantage of the additional warranty period. Thought I could do this via the QR code. Scanned the QR inside the box but this didnt work. Then realised i had to download and install the karcher app first. Added the K5 to the app via the QR code, expecting this to also do the registration. No. Had to go to the website and register there. Filled in the form and it didnt like the part no that I put in. I just copied it from the info in the box which said part number, but the form needed it in a specific format with full stops and dashes. Eventually got it registered, but I have no idea of how long the warranty is for. The TCs have differing warranty lengths depending on the model and when it was purchased. I read somewhere the K5 warranty was 5 years plus 1 year if registered, but Im still unsure. Why make the simple things so complicated. I havent put the pressure washer together yet, but hopefully there wont be any problems and it will last longer than my last one a K4, which lost pressure after a few years.

Purchased a cordless upholstery cleaner direct from karcher. Heavily advertised. Bought it in February 24 and used once okay. Stored all back in delivery box! Got it out to do car interior and battery completely dead and would not charge on screen a logo of a broken battery and a Numbers 1. Phoned their customer service Theyre obviously in trouble as I was initially 8th in the queue. When I got through you have to give them serial numbers part numbers an inquisition to get somewhere with the faulty equipment they supplied me! Its May 9th and they have NO batteries in stock until at least the 25th May!!! USELESS!There is obviously big problems with their batteries and there are huge problems with karcher.uk customer service they really do not give a monkeys uncle!!! Yes sir sorry about that well have a battery to you in the post tonight! Unfortunately they play the Uk customer services game of not the slightest interest in their customers!Its twothree days since my dealings with karcher I have given them all the myriad of questions theyve asked what have I got for it? Absolutely NOTHING except texts into my WhatsApp telling me theyre extremely loosely described as customer service cannot deal with me today! Send me a new battery and charger thats all youve got to do so far youve proved your inept try to satisfy your customers

New wet and dry hoover blew up after 6 minutes - customer service department totally useless

Xmas present via Amazon. 2nd time of using blew up after 2 minutes. Smoke everywhere. Rubbish. Initially contacted the customer helpdesk and pleasantly surprised at helpful response. Said theyd send a courier to collect and effect a repair. Then said couldnt send a courier to collect so theyd be in touch. Nearly a month ago. Further contact with helpdesk gets the well be back to you in 5 working days nothing happens, done this 3 times now. Totally useless. Machine sitting in a box waiting for collection. I have no doubt this review will get the standard thanks for your feedback it has been passed onto the relevant department total crap. I used to really respect Karcher now just the same as all the other shysters in the market place. Save your money, crap product and crap service.

Once you've bought it, you are on your own

Purchased a Karcher Window Vac, paying more because I trusted the brand. However, the vac no longer charges, and I am told I need a new charger at 25. Surely a quality charger should last longer than a few years, and if not, should be replaced free of charge by Karcher. Avoid at all costs, once you have purchased, you are on your own!

Appalling service and unprofessional brand

Ordered a pressure washer and brush last 290325. More than a week has passed but still no email of the delivery date as they said delivery should be completed within five to seven days.I have spoken to two of karcher agents via 01295 234020 and was promised that my order will be sent on the day that I called.Unfortunately, still no email or any sort of communication about the status of my order.I wish that I had read the reviews before ordering from this extremely unprofessional company. Anyone who can read this, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER OR USE ANY KARCHER EQUIPMENT. To Karcher, kindly do the people a favor and entirely shut your company down. Read the comments on any review platform and you will be obligated to stop trading at all.

20 minute wait to get cut off. looks like their customer service is pretty poor. Spent the first 10 minutes developing a profile including my number before their computer says no mentality, just to be put through to their sales team. Waited a further 10 minutes for their sales team to pick up, to then be immediately cut off. They didnt ring back so i am not sure why number email and postal address was required. I initially went to the dealers but they quickly said go to karcher for your spares, i can see why the dealers havent the time for that level of poor service. My advice buy a different product in the future. this is my last purchase from karcher.

Karcher web site is rubbish, Costco is a better deal

Ordered direct from the Karcher web site but item was delayed so I cancelled the order and bought a better model cheaper off Costco! K5 with home and car kit for 299!Patio cleaner is half decent, car brush is useless! The car cleaning products are rubbish, dont waste your money. But the turbo lance is powerful and the best end of most applications.

The machine lasted only a year and this is the third that Ive bought all the same rubbish. Poor construction and constantly going wrong. Unmaintainable. Problems from faulty switches, leaking pumps and connectors, intermittent pressure causing vamping. Just rubbish and Ill never purchase one again. Karcher haver have asked for more information??What part of the above dont you understand? The next problem is its not clear how to do this? The Web site asks for a reference number, where do I find this ? Its not on the reply. Its all just diverting tactics!

Disappointed with Karcher Product and Customer Service

Bought Karcher K4 Universal 8 months ago and when I used it 2 weeks ago the machine began leaking water. As it was under guarantee I contacted Karcher to establish next steps. Was asked a number of questions about the machine which had no relevance to the problem and was then asked to forward a copy of the Invoice. Then received an email stating they would get back to me in 5 days. Never got back to me so rang Karcher again. Would not help until I had completed questions which I had already answered verbally. Would have to wait another 5 days. I answered questions and sent back within 1 day and contacted Karcher as I was not going to wait 5 days. Got cut off 3 times before getting through and Karcher have booked the machine in to be picked up today 1504. Luckily I still had the Box that the machine came in otherwise would have had to find box big enough which would not have been easy. Karcher dont make things easy and it has taken 10 days and a number of phone calls for Karcher to take machine back for repair and it is likely that it could take up to 2 weeks to repair. I am disappointed with the Build quality of the machine as I have had Karcher machines in the past which have been reliable. They dont seem to make them like they use to. Customer Service appalling and seems to be about delaying tactics and not dealing with the problem. Extremely disappointed with Karcher as they would normally be the brand I would go to when looking at various products. After this experience I will now shop around.

The madness of Karchers Customer Care

I purchased a K4 Car and Garden bundle. I was impressed when it arrived but disappointed when all the assembly screws were missing. Luckily, or so I thought Karcher have an app and on that app, the product manual and in that product manual an exploded view of the products with parts grouped and numbered. All good I thought, even better a contact form if parts were missing, I moved t from even better to wonderful as I completed the form and many days later.NOTHING!!I have emailed with my address, invoice for proof of purchase and given the serial number all of which was requested by Karcher. Great I thought I will get my screws. A few days later .NOTHING !!At last an email asking me to list the parts numbers which I eventually found in the parts catalogue I was sent. Email sent and a few days later .NOTHING!!!So lets have a try at Whats App which they list as a source of contact. All information requested provided again and again and again. You are asked for the information, the agent goes off to deal with another customer and then comes back to ask for the information you have just sent. ALL THIS AND STILL NO SCREWS, I JUST FEEL SCREWED.I shall try the phone but no doubt I will be asked to email it again.Karcher, your products may be good but you have everything to learn about customer care. Just take a look on here at your score most of which relates to how you deal with people who have purchased your products. It is a disgrace that you are getting away with this. Please please can I have my screws????
