Ive been using Gousto on and off for a few years now. Although we have enjoyed using it, there has been issues with bad deliveries etc. I now wont be using Gousto ever again, as I cancelled my subscription well in advance of the cut off date, only for them to proceed with the order and charge me. After I complained they said it was too late and wouldnt refund me, but would I donate the food if I couldnt use it. Wont ever be returning and extremely disappointed after spending at an estimate 3 to 4 thousand pounds with them over the years, they wouldnt even cancel and refund 40.

Delivery times hit and miss. Since summer, we have been struggling with deliveries scheduled for Monday. I could confidently say that almost 50 of Monday deliveries were delayed by couple of hours, one week we didnt even receive it!I tried swapping days around and noticed that the main problem is in Yodel courier, because when delivery is carried out by DPD there were no issues.We have been using Gousto for more than 2 years now, but this is the first time we are reconsidering switching to different company due to poor delivery service that messed up our plans, especially if working night shifts in NHS.It is unfortunate, because we really enjoyed the foodrecipes.

Well, I am on holiday, and it was left on my doorstep for a few days. My neighbours have taken it in. I am not home till Sunday, so some of the food will be out of date. I didnt order this. It was you who sent the food out. I am trying to get back in touch over my delivery. Its not kitting, so click the link you sent me.

In January, my husband and I were reevaluating our spending, our biggest budget was food. Yet every week we seemed to be throwing food out and were spending a fortune on take out. The kids wanted home cooked dinners so I decided we were going to try Gousto. We get 5 meals a week for all 4 of us so 20 portions and it has never cost more than 65. It??s so easy to choose the meals and they also tell you not only calories per portion but prep time amongst other details. We pick at least 2 meals per week that take 10 minutes so we know that when we just can??t be bothered cooking this is when we??d usually get a take out that would cost upwards of 40 for one meal we know it would be ready inside of ten minutes. But truthfully the main benefit is it has honestly brought us closer together as a family, every night we sit together and enjoy a home cooked meal, we chat and laugh and decide whether this meal is one we??d choose again. We often help each other to cook, my 16 year old son cooks once a week on his day off college and it??s developing his skills and confidence in the kitchen. I no longer spend Sundays throwing courgettes in the bin! And the whole ??what do you fancy, I don??t fancy that? dance that ends up in everyone eating different meals at different times is over. You don??t subscribe to it. You don??t have to do it every week it??s so easy to skip if you??re going to be away. If you??re feeling like we were then give it a go. I bet you??ll be pleased that you did.

If I knew you was going to use Yodel to deliver I would never have subscribed to begin with. I will be cancelling my subscription asap.Just as thought, Yodel absolutely useless as always.They didnt deliver in the 2 hour slot, Gusto customer service said this is just an estimated time every other courier service hits their times.My first box became inconvenient and this service is suppose to be about convenience. I have just cancelled my subscription.Poor service all round.

Constantly send you improperly stored meat and dairy products that go off well before their displayed use by dates huge risk to health! Why pay 45 a week for meals you then can??t even eat because they don??t keep long enough for you to cook them! I had issues with several boxes, not just a one off!In response to the reply why would anyone want to discuss anything further? All you ever get is a bad script repeated at you. Nothing changes and only a partial credit is offered after much back and forth. Will be actively advising people not to get this box!

I have used Gousto for quite a few months and had the odd issue but overall service has been good until today.They have double charged me for this weeks box and when contacting customer service they just advised voided and will drop off account in 10 days if doesn??t contact bank.I am not happy and requested a complaint to be raised. As the customer service was shocking considering they??re at fault.I wouldn??t recommend using Gousto as you can??t trust what they take from your bank and when they do make an error they show no care or concern for the difficulties or stress it causes you.I??m not even confident that the agent has raised the complaint as requested. I was assured it won??t happen again but looking at the reviews it seems it is becoming a regular occurrence that happens to customers. I just contacted them to ask how I can remove card details from my account as no active subscription and they advised no option to do this other than account deletion which I am sure goes against GDPR. Update still waiting on funds to release back to account and I contacted customer services via email who have been no help at all just repeat themselves, imply their double charge was my fault and refuse to raise a complaint or remove my card details. I will not use Gousto in the future and will advise others not too as there is no customer care or loyalty and you??re likely to get funds taken whenever Gousto choose. AVOIDFurther update box arrived 25 minutes ago and it is damaged, lasagna sheets smashed, tomatoes squashed and open and one of the chicken portions looks like half a pack so will be no good for two people. Seems Gousto really only cares about taking money rather than providing a high level of service!

Awful experience. This was my first subscription delivery, and after not receiving anything within the given timeslot, I contacted them. The agent took 40 minutes just to track my order, only to find out that my items were delivered to the wrong address. They casually suggested that I Retrieve my fresh food from someone else??s house??s Safe Place??which I outright refused. Then, it took another 15 minutes to cancel my subscription, yet no refund has been issued, and I wasted my Saturday waiting for it.This is the worst customer service I??ve ever experienced.

As long as you dont have any issues... This stuff is fine. A little expensive but fine. If you have any issues there will completely disregard you. Ignore you then. They will put you to a third party customer service who claim their refunded you when they havent and eventually you will have to reclaim it from your bank. I think you best go into this with your eyes open. Their reply saying can I contact them... Completely ignores the fact that I have tried to contact them three times about this already and got on complete bunk from their rubbish customer service stuff

Ill start by saying that the menu choice, food quality along with portion size are excellent and generally represent good value for money however, prep is quite time consuming and there seems to be a lot of washing up afterwards.Even worse, be prepared for a pre approval payment to be charged to your creditdebit card in advance of your weekly order date, this is to check that you have the funds available in your account to pay for your order which you typically place and pay for 3 days prior to your delivery date. Depending on which bank your payment card is from you may have to wait up to 10 days before the payment is refunded meaning that in reality you are paying for your food a week in advance and will have 2 payments running concurrently pending one of which will eventually be refunded at some point watch out for this if funds are tight!!

So we moved from another company who we had been with for 9 months ??Hello Fresh? but left because of missing items and damaged packaging with meat. A colleague uses Gousto, and recommended. So we signed up. Firstly, menu selection is far greater, and portions are bigger than HF. Packing is more compact and there is less waste when compared to HF. So at present we will stay with Gousto.I would add the food tastes lovely. HF flavours very samey. Also, use by dates are better by far, which means if we have different plans, the food is still fresh to have before next delivery. The cool box within packaging is far more reassuring and a clever idea it can be recycled, so packaging is better and more environmentally friendly. I just hope that the quality of the food maintains its standards but so far, best decision we??ve made to move across. And on par, Gousto is a little bit cheaper. Well done Gousto.

In response to the bot reply, we have contacted your customer service team so many times on this and nothing changes, so will not be making contact again. Foods ok, shame your couriers cant follow simple instructions. Every time we have raised this with your customer service team, we are made to feel it is our fault. Again today despite giving clear instructions multiple times and leaving a sign out for the courier, the food has been left on the doorstep in full sun, exposed to the elements and passing dogs etc. we were promised this would stop happening but no, it continues. Looks at the photo the courier has taken the sign that says dont leave here will be clearly in the photo! We will be stopping our subscription as this can not happen over summer. Where they are leaving the food is in full sun all day!

Received a box after cancelling, they were happy to take my money, but not so happy to give me a partial refund which was promised. This is the second time I have complained, and customer services are diabolical. I can see from the recent reviews that Gousto is on the slippery slope to the end, and Im sorry to say it couldnt be more deserved. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!

Poor quality ingredients. Some key ingredients exchanged, totally ruined the recipe. Unable to cancel a delivery despite it not being dispatched. Have now cancelled. Would not recommend
