I was subscribed to the Sunday deliveries but I was shocked when it was delivered late without any notice. after reaching out to customer service, they told me that it would arrive on Monday which is ridiculous because I chose Sunday because thats the only day that I am available to receive the delivery. I will not continue with their service.

Weve used Gousto for several years, and while the recipe variety is excellent and the food generally decent, the delivery service has seriously deteriorated.Since January, weve had six late deliveries??each one arriving outside the promised 8am??7pm window. If you??re planning to cook on delivery day, be prepared to go hungry.I contacted customer support, and their solution? Sit at home all day Sunday because ??at least then it??s guaranteed to be DPD.? Not exactly helpful when you choose Monday delivery for a reason??and especially frustrating when you can??t select your preferred courier.Bottom line We still recommend Gousto for the food, but only if you??re willing to gamble on when it will show up.

Cancelled all future orders and will not use them again, delivery not made today as driver says couldn??t find address and they would bring it on Monday !!! Contacted Gousto who are no help whatsoeverWaited in fur this order to take away on holiday but now have to shop when there Probably not get refunded for it either as they don??t seem helpful at all

I have only had two deliveries and both have been at almost 9pm despite the window given of up to 7pm. The one that arrived late today had lamb mince with a date of 9th March but the info by email said 10th 11th March. Also received two sachets of chicken stock when one should have been vegetable. Not impressed with the above but the recipes are good

I had been a customer of this company for some time and recommended their meals to my friends with the proviso that the perishable produce was usually of poor quality and needed replacing with fresh items. I was happy to do this. Last Wednesday my order arrived as usual. On Saturday I had an email telling me my order was on its way! As I live on my own on a pension there was no way I could either afford or eat two deliveries in one week. I contacted customer support, after checking my bank account to find out47.98 had been taken, to tell them that I had not ordered it and did not want it. I was told that they could see that my delivery options were for 1 order a month on a Wednesday, but that I had ordered one for Saturday? As I had NOT been into my account to alter my deliveries in any way then I can only surmise that this was an administrative error on Guosto??s part. I am due to go into hospital this week so all the perishable goods will have to be thrown away. I was given a refund of 8.79, so actually paid 39.19 for their error. I have spoken to others who have been, and are, customers of Guosto and find that this practise, and that of still sending cancelled orders, are not isolated cases. I have cancelled my subscription and shall find another company to deal with in the future.

Well done Gousto, you smashed it for my first week with you. I had been a Hello Fresh 4 family meal a week customer for nearly 2 years Hello Freshs service and quality has rapidly declined over time, I thought I give Gousto a try and by the first weeks results Im very impressed with Gousto, please keep up the good work. Tonight was Smoky Chicken Goulash with rice...Lovely

Ingredients arrived damaged, tried to use the chat service to report and the service was very poor. Have now cancelled my subscription and will use another service

After years of ordering I have cancelled as the ingredients are often damaged or missing meaning you can??t actually make the meal. Prices have also increased. Plus they refused to change my delivery address as it was a few mins after the cut of date 3 days before delivery. This meant a box of food was going to be wasted. Customer service is non existent terrible.

Been a customer for about 5 years, the odd problem with missing or damaged products which are usually dealt with in a timely manner. I don??t normally leave poor reviews but today??s experience has really riled me.My delivery yesterday which normally arrives between 114 didn??t arrive until 9pm, I have questioned with the company how safe the protein will be to consume because the ice packs were not as chilled as usual.The agent asssured me they were safe to eat but couldn??t provide any certified documentation to back up this claim.On saying I wasn??t prepared to eat the protein and asking for the 3 items to be credited so I could replace at the shops, the agent was unable to do this. I asked for a call from a manager, this isn??t possible.Very poor customer service.

Great choices of meals etc however some of the suggested methods of cooking could be reviewed. Example, to make lovely chips,youre told to chop a white potato into thin fries, place on a baking tray, a light drizzle of oil and some s. Every chip stuck to the tray, took nearly 40 mins to cook not 25 and were floppy. Not great.

SCAM AVOID. They sign you up for subscription regardless and you can??t cancel. SCAM AVOiD. Do not use the their first offer 50 off as they will sign you up for a subscription which you never took and they can??t find proof to send you either and then won??t refund or cancel the box. SCAMCurrently receiving 5 meals of prawn and rice dishes because I didn??t select my mealsbecause I didn??t sign up to another box. When you try their 50off, it clearly says NO LOCK IN. It also gives you the option to get a one off box but they WONT give you a one off box they will send you another box until you cancel your subscription which you never took out in the first place. They obviously sign you up anyway and if you don??t go into the account and cancel they send it anyway. Also signing into your account is ridiculously long with identifying random pictures 5 or 6 times.

Massive let down. Take your money but dont deliver, unreliable courier service but they refuse to accept maybe they need to change courier.Two weeks in a row we have had issues now. Last week the courier delivered at 9.30pm, 1.5 hours after their cut off. So we had to go out and buy dinner for that night which was hugely inconvenient. They refunded the delivery only, but as a credit not an actual refund. This week, box never even got dispatched yet they still took the weekly payment. No refund yet just another inconvenience and extremely poor service from Gousto.We have now cancelled the subscription as its a waste of time if we cant rely on it. Also wont get the refund for last weeks f up because you can only use as credit on future purchases.Cheeky if you ask me.Avoid them, they have got too big for their boots and dont care about their customers because they know they can replace them.EditWhat is the point of the copypaste feedback? We appreciate this may have been disappointing. An understatement and lazy customer service. Kind of proves my point about how much they dont value customers.

Was considering changing to these people but thought to check trustpilot first. All and u mean all 1 star reviews receive the identical contact is reply. After reading the complaints I can see they have no idea of customer service, obviously not bothered about poor service or their customers .will have a look at hello fresh

I??ve been a fairly long Gousto customer who dipped in for maybe 6 months, went away and then came back but it??s now awful. At least one meal, often two meals, a week I have a missing, incorrect or mouldy item. Sure you can log the quality with them and they give you a nominal credit on ANOTHER box. An example this week. 3 meals and I have 3 potatoes which were sprouting AND one had a big black worm hole on it plus I also had a soft tomato covered in white mould they offered me 1.50.That may, if I could buy them individually from a green grocers, may cover the value but it doesn??t cover my time and money travelling to the store. I??m already paying premium and 12 per meal for items which are not good enough for a food bank charity is shocking. On top of that this week they just arbitrarily changed a recipes ingredients I??ve had maybe 10 times with no mention. I??ve now got the ??same? meal, same photo on the recipe but with different ingredients. Disgusting quality, disgusting mentality.

Its good fun, you throw away less waste and its easy to make delicious food. My son is 12 and really into his cooking so this is a really effective learning aid for him to refine his skills also.

Customers should be aware that the 3 day deadline for pausing orders just means you wont get the order, it doesnt mean you wont pay for it. Then youve a real fight on to get it back.If only they had a manager too speak to

This company cannot improve. Talking to a Robot at the end of a phone reading from a script!!!!I have an account with them and as part of my subscription my delivery day is a Sunday. Today my delivery has been delayed........after chasing them numerous times on their chat, I was told by Antoineil B that of the box is not delivered I would get a full box refund and be compensated. Well what a lie!!!I am now being told the box will be delivered tomorrow and I cannot have a refund. However as far as I am concerned they have broken their agreement with me.I work full time and will not be available tomorrow. Hence a Sunday delivery. I am not prepared to accept a box that has been sat outside for hours in the sun.Gusto customer services are Robots and do not listen to you and quite clearly read from a script. On the first occasion they hung up on me and the second time again went quiet and did not respond. So apart from not having a box as agreed, I have had to fork out on a takeaway as I wasnt notified that the box wasnt coming until after the supermarkets had closed. As far as I am concerned Gusto have stolen my money and not sent any goods as per my agreement, and add lying to their list of incompetent traits.
