We bought a KARCHER WV 1 Window Vacuum Cleaner earlier this year. It works well enough so no complaints there. The problem is the fitting of the black plunger into the removable tank. Cleaning the shower walls after a shower requires the tank to be emptied three times, but the fitting of this plunger into the tank is a major headache. With wet hands the plunger just doesnt go in easily, and the two little lugs which must fit either side of matching tags on the tank are just too difficult to line up. We have overcome this problem by applying vaseline to the neck of the tank and the plunger, so it slides in better. We have also put white paint on the one lug of the plunger so we know which way around the plunger fits it only goes in one way but it looks very similar on both sides. The paint makes it easier to remember which way it fits in. Now the little flimsy Oring which seals the plunger in the neck of the tank has broken after just 3 months. Where do we get replacements, because obviously they dont last too long, and it wold be best to keep a supply at home.

Great experience all round and Karcher Direct was the cheapest. Delivered quick as promised. Only think is the recent prize link that gave me 20 off future purchase didnt work. I had a few things I wanted to purchase but will hold off for now.

I bought the 18L cordless lawnmower.Its a bit Fisher Price and although it cuts the grass reasonably well, in the lowest setting it leaves gobbets of grass behind on the lawn which looks unsightly. I wouldnt recommend this mower but,like everything else,you get what you are prepared to pay.

Ordering and all aspects of delivery worked well. Strimmer is powerful enough and has good battery life. I have only been using it for 4 weeks and I am happy with my purchase so far.

Bought a K4 to clean garden paving stones. It worked fine and did a good job. However when the water dried I found that each place the device stood, there was a stain on the pavers. So far I have been unable to remove these stains. Support team advised I must have been doing something wrong like using the wrong length extension lead, using wrong length hose etc. and that I could top up the oil at a service centre 35 miles from home. I refuted these suggestions of improper use, they have not got back to me. Poor service. I would t buy another based on this experience

Purchased a K4 washer after 10 days told out of stock. No apology just told hope to get more stock soon. No replies from customer services on Whats app either after a day waiting an automated message stating no representative available. Shocking company once they have your money they do not care.

When they work, Karcher pressure washers are a capable product.They might not be the best of breed but they do the job.However, Im on my second Karcher K5 which I use very occasionally and keep in my garage.My previous Karcher died and trying to get it fixed was stressful beyond imagination.I should have known better than to repeat my mistake and buy another Karcher pressure washer, my bad.But I did, and after using this Year when I finished power washing my Patio I couldnt turn it OFF other than by unplugging it from the mains.I hoped that this would be a simple fix or there would be a straightforward workaround.But when I googled this fault, it appeared quite common but I then discovered to my horror that the potential costs to repair were staggering as our Warranty was only 2 Years although we now believe it has been extended to 5 Years.Trying to address this problem has been tortuous involving a couple of Dealers.One provided the following potential solutions1 60.00 inc VAT for assessment fix but NO guarantees could be given2 if the stop valve at the top of the pump is the issue and a clean and degrease will fix, there will be no additional charge. 3 if it is an electrical glitch, the whole electrical box would need to be replaced at 141 plus VAT 169 so 230 in Total!4 Or, if we buy likeforlike i.e. another new Karcher K5 from them the 60 assessment charge will be waived so 299.00 worse off if we had to buy a new one!At the lower end of the scale 60 is tolerable but at the upper end 230 seems exorbitant to fix a switch problem. Ive politely written to Karcher highlighting my concerns and asking for a response.As of posting I have had no response via email, telephone or letter.Please be aware when buying as their Customer Service is paper thin at best.Update 07042024I sent a letter to Karcher UK on 26th March 2024 politely explaining the experiences I have been going through complete with Product Part Number, Serial ID, date and place of purchase.I asked for a response from Karcher within 10 working days which is reasonable.Ive heard nothing back other than a response to this TrustPilot review where I was asked to provide further information which I did immediately.In my letter to Karcher I supplied them my address, email address and mobile number.

Just purchased the K4 power washer. Very impressed. The service at the Karcher centre was excellent. I had looked at reviews and people complained it was time consuming to put together. The guys in the shop sorted this out and also gave a comprehensive guide on looking after for the power washer. Thanks guys

I was disappointed when the variable power jet lance stopped working on my K4 pressure washer I have taken it apart, cleaned it and still it does not work. So I thought they had a 5 year warranty, turns out it was 2 years and mine was 3 years old. Worse still, the replacement lance was quoted at 39.49 delivery. Close to 30 of the cost of the whole device! For a unit that I use, perhaps once every 6 weeks, two years warranty is poor and shows a lack of confidence in the equipment by the manufacturer. I also found the fact that Karcher took ten days to reply to my service request equally poor.

HiEmails sent numerous times no response to my query??????Been waiting days via the Karcher WhatsApp messaging option?????Its obvious this communication channel is a total waist of time Karcher offering it as it appears unmanned and unchecked. I think you need to move into the 21st century as this is Stone Age practices offered.Sorry but your Customer Service systems fall well short of acceptable.Order 85875925 Returned to you by DHL on the 040325 looking for an update of when I can expect my refund before I approach my card provider for a charge back. new edit to point out they say in their reply they have reached out to get more information, this is not true at all they have not reached out.more liesHas become a really low par brand, and have no idea how to handle customers. Had 3 power washers break in the last 2.5 years after sending my 84 year old mothers back to get fixed which was made extremely difficult to do they sent it back with a missing high pressure hose, when I explained this to them they tried to make ME pay nearly 75 for a replacement....After explaining I would like my mothers property back I have been ignored 4 times!! Thank go for BOSCH who replaced the high pressure hose for below 18. Would not use this brand and will warn other people off this multi million pound company who keep your property and try to make you pay more for THEIR mistakes....Please see below for their general, bland and unhelpful reply that solves nothing, as can only assume thats what ill get looking at the MANY other disappointing reviews.....

After my review a week ago I was contacted by Karcher 4 days ago asking for more details, i.e. name, email address and reference number. As they had not replied to my letter to them I did not have a reference number to give them or did they mean original order number? but I did supply name and email address. Still have not heard anything, not even acknowledgment of this extra information.

I have had four Karche K2 Pressure washers since 2020, three purchased and one replacement. They all failed after being rested over winter, probably used in total 20 times. AvoidEdited 1022025KARCHER advised 2812025 that they would look into the matter, still waiting. I have two of the washer still available if they want to examine them.

Ordered a K4 with all extras, everything was shoved into the jet wash box that was designed just for the jet wash. This meant everything was squashed into a box not fit for purpose. All the extras are damaged and unusable, arrived as a complete mess, tried for past several weeks to get in contact to arrange replacement, theyve given me FOUR different emails to contact when it should just be one and all four of those email contacts are not responding to me for over two weeks now!! Worse after care and customer service Ive ever experienced. ADDED after looking at reviews, wow!!! How many customers have you ignored when something is wrong!! You send auto replies on here all with exact same wording but clearly make no actual effort to contact customers directly to sort the issues or learn from them!

Was told delivery of a steam washer would be within 35 days, and I would receive an update email when it shipped. That was on 13122024. On day five I spoke to a rep who said it was actually 57 days due to a warehouse move. Strike One no mention of this on the site, no email or notice sent to me. I had to chase it up myself. After Christmas I get in touch again, same excuses warehouse move, Christmas, etc. they hope to ship it that Thursday or Friday. Nothing. Strike Two No shipping update, no update on the delay, no word from them at all. Its now 13012025 and I will be requesting a refund, but based on the other reviews here this 10 days to return the money they took from me immediately is easily Strike Three. At this point I dont even believe the warehouse story. Just absolutely shoddy and opaque busines practices from minute one.

After careful consideration of several Wet and Dry vacuum cleaners I finally settled with a Karcher WD3 as my choice. Upon unboxing the item I discovered that the foam filter was missing. I fired off an email advising Karcher of the issue. There follows a pingpong match of several emails. What is your customer number?...Please attach proof of purchase...What is the part number? Finally I got my answer...no longer in stock, the best advice I can offer is to speak to the retailer you purchased it fromWell thats just great Karcher, you are selling products with parts missing and no support. Never again Karcher, never again.

I purchased a pressure washer directly from karcher via their website on 30 Dec 24. When It arrived I changed my mind and wanted to return the item box was never even opened. I contacted karcher via their website on 6 Jan and someone emailed me back on 7 Jan asking me to confirm that it is not opened and not been used. I already stated this in my original contact that it was unused but they wanted me to clarify this again. No idea why?! When I replied on 7 Jan I did not get a response until 14 Jan and that was me chasing them up. They initially stated that parcelforce can collect on 27th Jan but this was not ideal for me so I asked to change it to 28 Jan. Again, they did not respond until 25th Jan that parcelforce would collect it on 28 Jan. The collection went smoothly and I have proof that they received it in their warehouse on 30 Jan. However, I have still not been refunded the money despite this being 10 days after they have received it.Terrible customer service and I will not be ordering karcher products again.

Ordered a K4 direct from the manufacturer after my old K4 from 2019 just started leaking like a garden sprinkler. New one arrived with a damaged handle. I was going to keep it as the accessory that comes with it is a handle that fits into the cracked one. But after taking the new unit out it was scratched with wear and looked like it was used. I know they probably test each unit but was scuffed and marked all over. Water was coming out into the box too. Not to mention 1 week to deliver, another week to collect and then probably another week to send a new unit!!!!! Why not send a new unit when collecting the old? Requested a refund and not using Karcher again. Clearly going downhill fast. Very disappointed.
