DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS WEBSITE

If I could rate them -10, I would. Refund policy is a joke. 30 days turns into 30 business days, turns into never actually happening. They will send “proof” of refund but it never turned up. Even after I asked them to recheck their account in case it bounced back. Eventually raised a dispute with my bank for a refund that never came. Notified today that dispute results in my favour. I wonder why? I Never got my refund. Shonky refund policy without a doubt. They just keep telling you it’s refunded. But it never was. Don’t book through this company. They steal your money

Book directly with the Hotel, not this third party.

This company may not be a scam but they do take advantage of customers. I booked a hotel room because my travel companion sent me the link, assuming it was the hotel website. They have a strict no-cancellation policy, even though the hotel has offered to refund my trip (we are several weeks out and dealing with a family medical situation so cannot travel as planned). After the hidden fees (almost $300 in fine print), it was actually more expensive than the face value of the room I booked. The shady practices go deeper. The hotel claims the booking was made through Expedia even though I never visited that site, so I believe they made the reservation on my behalf there. The customer care email address for Guest Reservations appears to be a subdomain of Priceline. Really disappointing if they’re associated because I’ve had excellent experiences with Priceline. I’ve emailed and gotten replies from a completely different entity. Supposedly they will refund if the hotel agrees but I am concerned that this will not happen. I can’t even move my booking or transfer it to another person to enjoy.

Do not use this site

Do not use this site. I thought I was booking direct with the hotel. When I received my confirmation email after paying for my accommodation, I got no copy of invoice or receipt. Something I need to attach my my client bills /expense claims. When I asked the hotel directly -they were wonderful (Rydges Wellington) - they were only able to forward me the receipt/invoice related to the payment they received from this website. Almost half of what I paid them. So I'm unable to claim my expenses correctly. When I tried to contact this website the automated voice and email system requires a confirmation number or itinerary number to proceed -something they conveniently never provide at time of booking and payment.It's now impossible for me to obtain a copy of my bill for the correct amount.

Nonexistent customer service

The email is vague once the booking is confirmed. Then to simply call and make a change is a task. I waited on hold over 20 minutes and no answer, I made a simple mistake and booked the start for a day early. Now I can’t change it and I guess I’ll be losing the money? Super aggravating. Will never use this site again and will warn the others!

Don’t book through guest reservations

Don’t book through guest reservations just use booking.com. Went on the website for it to give me a price for what I thought was the total amount but the actual price was hidden in a drop down bar I tried to stop the transaction but it was too late. The same room was priced ?60 cheaper on booking.com. The call line says it’s open 24/7 but when I try and call it says it’s not taking calls so if your looking to book somewhere don’t use this website waste of time

PICKWICK GUEST HOUSE.OXFORD (UK)0X3 7SPBooked Pickwick guest house in Oxford. I request for a COLD BREAKFAST in my room the night before as I had an early get away in the morning..which was crossiant, boiled egg and yogurt and I had the RUDEST reply back..as they " would not accommodate in leaving a few items the night before!!The pleasant welcome I experienced was from Adnand at the reception...he was pleasant, well spoken and very helpful.To make matters more unpleasant was skimpy hot breakfast as my meetings were delayed that meant I could have breakfast which I had paid for!!The only one female kitchen staff...was so stressed at 7am was reeking smell of Nicotaine cigarette smoke and had a dry hacking cough of smokers lungs whilst cooking!She was coughing continously..not very pleasant experience!For her to take my order was very rude and unpleasant behaviour...and I asked her to calm down as " it was only breakfast I was ordering, not a 5 course meal!The breakfast for the price was very miserly.I egg, 1 hash brown,1 vegan sausage ( which she said will take 30 minutes )some beans..It is the SMALLEST ENGLISH BREAKFAST, I have had especially as had 8 hours of driving to do.AndTo ask for extra sausage and hash brown.. she said would cost more...what ?8.99!!!This guest house seriously need updating and redecorating..the windows of my ROOM 3 had so much mould on..looks like the window frames have never been cleaned!The guests toilet downstairs certainly needs paint work and paint on the heating pipes.I wonder if the owners house windows also are full of mould!!It sheer negligence of owner for such UNKEPT property and putting Guests at risk of breathing the spores of mould.Shower tray too had mould..just putting mould killer and doing bathrooms sealant would update the shower tray!!Needs paint work everywhere!!For guests who have asthma or allergy to mould can be seriously unsafe for them and their health.Would book elsewhere next time!!

Guest made a booking believing it was a scam

Guest made a booking believing it was the appointed broker for the hotel. The money was taken from the guest's account using a Booking.com reservation. However, when the guest needed to cancel the booking, The Guest Reservations' cancelation policy did not allow any refund of the payment, unlike booking.com. The company is based in Kansas in the United States you should not trust their service, exercise extreme caution when making a booking using their system
