Review of SiteGround
We trusted this company with over 20 small business websites. What we got was a disaster. Twice now, all our sites were randomly taken offline on a weekend'?€”without warning, without explanation. The reason? An inode limit buried deep in fine print. Even after upgrading from the so-called '?€œUNLIMITED GrowBig'?€ ? plan to '?€œUNLIMITED GoGeek'?€ ? (what a joke), they still pulled the plug on us. No storage dashboard to oversee limits, no emergency fallback. Just vanished websites. There were no websites added after upgrading to the suggested GoGeek plan. They just take all websites offline at random times at weekend, twice now on a saturday or sunday. This isn'?€™t just a personal inconvenience'?€”we lost a '?‚ ?26,000 client because they couldn'?€™t access a demo site in front of their shareholders. We'?€™ve had multiple customer complaints, and we'?€™re now forced to migrate all sites away and are preparing legal action for damages.Their use of the word '?€œunlimited'?€ ? is intentionally misleading and should be illegal under EU consumer law. If you'?€™re running a real business, stay FAR away. You could lose everything without notice.
