I was scammed out of 4,000 by a guy named Moe Hayek on whop.com who owns Moementum University selling his course Learn How To Build A 7Figure Ecom Brand, which he guaranteed I would make 50,000 in a month by starting a supplement brand clearly a scam everything in his course can be found online for free. Also the contract he provided falsely stated that his students were eligible for a refund if they were not satisfied, which turned out to be a lie. After I shared my experience on twitter, both the cofounder and an employee of whop reached out via DMs, but they ghosted me once I explained the situation. To make matters worse, whop has an arbitration clause hidden in their terms of service that prevents class action lawsuits, indicating they are aware of their shady practices. That alone should tell you about their business ethics. Don??t buy any course on whop and stay away from this shady company and the millions of fake entrepreneurs on the site!

I had a negative experience with a Discord server on WHOP and tried to leave an honest review about it. Instead of addressing my concerns, the server banned and reported me after I posted my review??even though I had previously complied with their warnings. WHOP then blocked me from reviewing and denied my appeal, effectively allowing the server to weaponize the report system to silence criticism.This raises serious concerns about WHOP??s fairness and transparency. If a server can remove critical feedback simply by reporting users, then reviews on WHOP are not a reliable reflection of reality. Their platform seems to prioritize server owners over customer fairness, making it impossible for users to share honest experiences.If you??re considering using WHOP, be aware that your voice can be erased if the server doesn??t like what you say.

Initially I was upset with the Whop app that would not allow me to cancel my subscription before the renewal date. I contacted the Whop help desk and they were very helpful. They kept me updated through the whole resolution process and they decided in my favour. If you have any issues, reach out to their help desk, they are definitely worth checking out.

Whop??s customer service is completely powerless if a creator refuses to issue a refund??it??s nothing but a huge waste of time. I was desperate and foolish enough to buy the ??Invest With Corey? course, only to discover it??s run by a con artist pushing scam after scam both online and offline. In the end, I enriched him and Whop while getting zero value in return. Terrible service on both sides.

Customer service is really 11 on WHOP. The email team does a fantastic job reaching out in MINUTES. and im not having to deal with a bot! I plan on keeping my education platform with WHOP forever.

I had a 3 different yearly subscriptions with them and 2 of them were good at the start but after trial period was over they stopped posting. The other one I asked for a refund within the trial period ended. I got a message a week later asking for more details and another week later denied and now my trial period is over. Appealed again that night and sided with the company by the time I had woken up next morning. All I can do is delete my account and warn yo they??ll take your money and keep it. ITS ALL A SCAM

I had a bad run in with a Creator and WHOP TEAM fixed it immediately , my experience has always been great with WHOP. This just makes it a lot better I have nothing but great things to say about the APP its great and easy to use. LIVE help option helps a lot also. Hands down the best app Thank you Whop.

If I could give a zero stars I would. Whop is a scam. They do not want to refund money back to the third party company that I went through when I canceled them. Please dont get involved with whop

Terrible. They did an investigation on a company who stole money, had multiple complaints from several others of doing the same and their website no longer exists. How stupid do you need to be to see a scam? Somehow they side with the company with no explanation, and will not give one. Dont waste your time with them.

The dev team behind Whop hasnt got a clue. They arent trying to help creators, theyre trying to create more buyers! if the platform revolved around creators, thered be more buyers. Theyll tell you it is, but its NOT user friendly. They try to get my clients to buy into other whops before showing my content! An example of this is discovery in the phone app. Its the most reasonable button to click when looking for your content from the whop you just paid for. Meanwhile to see the apps, you have to click through your account profile. They look like a feed, not an app list. Such a poor layout. 3.0 was WAY better when it looked like Discord, and was simple. devastating

So, we are a fairly new business based in the UK that have chosen to run our back end through Whop as we saw a lot of positive reviews and loved the features that are integrated into Whop itself. In terms of Whop itself, the platform is great to use for those wanting to have an organised system where you can track all payments, create products and essentially just to streamline your online business. The only problem we have faced which is quite a major one, being that we are being double taxed by Whop for some strange reason. Whop have been taking an extra 20 off all of our transactions without any viable explanation anywhere to explain why and this is where we have found the customer service to be quite poor in all honesty. This is a lot of money to be losing and worrying for a new business as we have tried contacting through multiple services and had comments deleted and no clear cut answers on where to go, why or how this is happening which we are quite frankly annoyed about. There are multiple users complaining about this issue on Reddit also with other users feeling the same way about the issue and the capability of the customer service team itself. We have noticed that it seems to be happening to businesses using Whop who are based in the UK so this is something that Whop needs to adhere to swiftly. Due to this we have now began considering using other platforms such as Skool to run our back end as we have lost trust within Whop, which isn??t something we want to do as we love the features as mentioned previously but our business comes first, always. I hope that the team can read this and make amends to all users facing this issue and an improvement to the customer service quality, as quite frankly it??s not up to the standard it should be for a platform of this size.

Beware of Fraudulent Providers on WHOP ?? A Warning to ConsumersI formally lodged a complaint with WHOP regarding the fraudulent actions and unprofessional conduct of ??Easy Algo Indicators,? the service provider from which I purchased subscriptions. I initially purchased their services in good faith, but faced numerous issues, including unfulfilled promises, unjust service termination, inadequate customer service, and harassment through threatening emails with false accusations??none of which were backed by any proof.One of the first red flags was that I couldnt use the refund request option on the WHOP website. It showed that I had paid for the product, but when I tried to request a refund, it said there was no receipt found for the payment! I had to resort to using the Report This Company option instead. I requested evidence of the alleged violations, demanded a full reimbursement for both services I paid for via WHOP, and called for an investigation into fraudulent activity. However, I never received a response to my requests.While I still have access to the WHOP website, I am not alone in this, there are hundreds of others facing the same issue. Some of them received responses stating that WHOP closed the case and no refund would be provided, simply advising that the provider denied the claims. Those who attempted to go through their credit card providers to stop the payments or get a refund were blocked by WHOP without any resolution.Overall, I urge caution when dealing with businesses on WHOP, as there are many scam operations running. Given how WHOP handles these situations and treats its customers, I consider their practices to be highly questionable and dishonest.
