I recently visited the Bike department in Halfords Guildford (8am 20/08/25). I needed a replacement break for my sons bike and it was showing in stock on line. When I arrived it turned out that it wasn't. so why 5*? The guy serving could not have been more helpful. He offered alternative products but on listening to my needs realised that they wouldn't work. Knowing that i needed it that morning he searched up other competitor shops that might work and found one nearby that could help. This is a brilliant example of customer service. Going above and beyond to help a customer even if it means missing out on a sale (that wouldn't have been made anyway as the item I needed was out of stock!). It will make sure that i return to the store for future bike needs. Interestingly I have recently had cause to write a 1* review for the Halfords owned Tredz due to their very poor customer service. hopefully they will learn from the excellence shown in their Halfords store.
