I ordered two items through click and collect (a fabric waterproofer and Halfords own brand paint touch up stick). I recieved an Email to say both items were ready for collection. I missed a phone call from the store - they did not leave a voicemail - I rang the number back and recieved a message saying they were busy and to refer to the Halfords website. I travelled to the store and was told that the paint stick was not in stock and did I want to cancel the order? (Why would I have ordered something I didn't actually want?) No offer to get the item delivered or sent to store. A few days ago I recieved an Email to say there is an update to my order and that I would be contacted (possibly to arrange a refund). No explanation, no apology. I haven't had that contact yet, nor any refund. I still want the paint stick as looks about the best match I've found. I also intensely dislike the way the website insists on knowing your vehicle registration number before presenting a choice of paints, my vehicle (a 1970s motorcycle) isn't recognised by the website - so no list of paints for me! The fabric water proofer was a good price however.
