I was a fan of Apollo and really wanted to believe in their scooters. If you'???re only using it for short, $1,700 casual rides, sure, it'???ll feel great. But don'???t make the mistake of relying on it as your main form of transportation.Despite careful use and maintenance, the battery died completely after just 1,000 miles, when it should last closer to 10,000 miles for a high-end scooter like this. And now the only option is to buy a new battery that costs $400, almost half the price of a new scooter.I even reached out to Apollo and offered to pay half for the battery, just to be fair and they refused. That'???s what disappointed me the most. They just won'???t stand behind their product. This company needs to do better. They need to take responsibility for key components that fail far too soon. A battery is not optional, it'???s essential. This is like buying a car and having the transmission fail at 5,000 miles. Even if the warranty is over, any serious manufacturer would recognize that as a defect and offer a real solution.Apollo looks good on the surface, but once the warranty ends, so does their support. It'???s not just a bad battery, it'???s a total betrayal of customer trust.
