I attempted to open a Payoneer account because it is a mandatory requirement for using platforms like Etsy in Thailand. Despite providing correct and complete information, my application was rejected without any clear reason – no explanation, no indication of a problem, and no opportunity to amend or clarify anything.The customer support was unfortunately not helpful at all: instead of a personal response or meaningful dialogue, I received generic, automated replies vaguely referring to “activities against the Terms and Conditions” – even though the account was never active and no activity ever took place.I repeatedly asked for clarification, but no detailed answers were given. I was not informed about any specific issue, nor was I told how or where I could appeal the decision.What’s especially frustrating is that Payoneer’s behavior blocks access to platforms like Etsy for people living in countries like Thailand, where no alternative payout methods are available.Conclusion: If you depend on Payoneer, be aware that account approval is not guaranteed, and in case of rejection, you should not expect any transparency or fair treatment.
