Review of Ferryscanner

took some responsibility

Edited Ferry got cancelled (13:45 Dublin-Holyhead) so had to take the 19:45 one instead, which was also late. Since hotel checkout is 9am and I couldn't leave until evening, had to pay for an extra night just to have somewhere to stay for the day. Had to completely change my holiday plans. And the return ferry was confirmed on the day of my return!Irish Ferries told me to contact Ferry Scanner for compensation, so I did. Fair play to them - they actually sorted out a '? ?66 refund pretty quickly and kept me updated by email. Got the money within a day which was impressive. But that '? ?66 was just the difference between the two ferry types. Nothing for my hotel, nothing for having to change my entire holiday plans. Also worth noting - they don't advertise that there's any delay compensation available. You have to ask for it, which feels like damage control rather than proper customer care.If I go to Irish ferries reception until inadequacies in the service they will sell that you got the ticket from this company you should contact them. I contact them they say we don't run the ferries we're just to take care operator, I should contact the complaint section the complaint section says please contact via the person you got the ticket from and that's the email I have already passed them onto so they make it very difficult once I bought a ticket from them
