Car insurancr. Got a quote via gocompare, this company were not the cheapist but good review swayed it. Due to personal issues I only started toproceeded with the quote the night before renewal. At this piontI noted my wife's name has a spelling error. I proceeded to correct the error. The quote then went from ??490 to ??720 (approx). Not sure how correcting a spelling mistake had increased the risk to justify a 47% increase. Would appear to be blatant profiteering, no wonder there is little trust in this industry. See Which magazines "insurance rip off". And no I didn't proceed with this compan
