They charged me an extortionate “service fee” ($850) on top of the advertised room rate. This excessive fee was unexpected — if you read the other reviews here, you’ll see that many people have been similarly misled by their website. 2 days later, I reached out to the hotel directly, and they confirmed they have absolutely no record of the reservation. When I queried this with Guest Reservations, they made the absurd claim that the hotel may not see the reservation in their system until a few days before check-in (almost 3 months from now!!!)Guest Reservations are advising me to cancel my reservation (even though it doesn’t exist outside of their own records) presumably so that they can hang on to the money pursuant to their “no refunds”policy. Total scam. Avoid them at all costs.
